Excellent food, amazing staff, great place for family dinner. Always our favorite place to eat when in Northport. We have tried... the fish dinner, hamburgers, chicken sandwich, smoked ham sandwich, chicken fajitas salad, and few others and they are allamazing! Even though it's called Fischer's Happy Hour Tavern there is no Happy Hour and the locals just call it Happy Hour. Good food and... service. My wife and I had dinner at the Happy Hour Tavern last night. This place has a great up north feel with a cozy laid-back... atmosphere. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated almost immediately. We beat the rush. Our server was also veryfriendly and very helpful with the description of the menu. The menu is not gluten-free friendly, however there are a coupleitems that can be made gluten-free. One of them being the smoked pork chop which my wife enjoyed very much. She actually usedthe word ?succulent? when she described it to me. I had the fried walleye fillets and they were also very good. The music wasgreat, the food was great, and the service was great!
