Very good food.. fries are excellent, maple dipping sauce is incredible..
We order from Batata often and love their menu (especially the turkey gouda and vegan spicy Caesar!), and so we ordered catering... from them for our daughter's first birthday party this past weekend and could not have been happier! The bbq package wasdelicious, as were all of the sides. We also got a large sub, several side salads, and a latter of veggie/vegan sandwich andwrap options. Absolutely delicious tahini sauce. The Buddha Bowl was filled with so many veggies along with the greens. So tasty! Will... definitely be going back! Only thing, I wish they would use cardboard for takeout salads rather than plastic. Even mainstreamrestaurants are starting to do this. Would be much preferable. Read more

Smallish place, best to take out. Vegan options are a hit or miss. The falafel is the best I had in my life. I order it on a bed... of greens instead of the wrap, and also substitute the aioli sauce with their wonderful tahini sauce. The Seitan wrap however,tastes terrible. They have this annoying "today's specials" which unfortunately contains the majority of the vegan options weorder. They offer a discount for ordering online but there's no option to modify the meals, so you end up having to call in yourorder anyway. The vegan options, I feel, don't contain adequate amounts of protein. This is a common issue with merchants onlong Island that offer vegan options. Read more
Love this cafe! An excellent choice for those who are looking for healthy choices and for vegans and vegetarians. They also... have delicious coffee and desserts. The staff is always helpful and courteous. It's a feel-good, cozy place to stop in and siton that comfy couch, enjoy the sun by the window, all year long. This place is a total hidden gem! I just went in looking for coffee, and they have a wide selection of quality coffees,... chocolates, baked goods, salads, and so much more. And they have a lot of vegan and gluten free goods as well, for those who areso inclined. Great food, great atmosphere, great service! Read more
