Came here for the first time for happy hour, the specials are only available at the bar or the lounge which is essentially two... bench seats. We made two, the rice balls and Sliders were good and the big clams were okay. Specials were pretty decent forhappy hour and everyone enjoyed their dinner. They did have a DJ which was a little unusual and a bit too loud and unexpected aswell. Didn't really add anything. Read more

So, once again as the saying goes, if i could leave no stars i would. Its ok 1 star still explains the experience quite clear.... Let me start by saying, we live local & see lot of cars there so we figured we would wait until after the grand opening for themto sort things out & can put their best game on with no excuses. So here we are. BIG MISTAKE ! You never get a second chance tomake a first impression. No table cloths is a big cheap out no no ! I only assume the people who left a 5 star review eitherdon’t get out much or just don’t know where to go, or what ooooh laaa la really is. The best thing was the garlic pizzadough nosh before the meal. So From the start it’s high end prices with a pizzeria experience. Actually the chicken parm wasbetter at most pizzeria’s i have been to on any corner for about $15 I will explain shortly. I Ordered 1/2 dz clams, 1/2 dzoysters & shrimp cocktail to start, a coke with lime or lemon & a tea $4.00 was more expensive then the coke. They forgot thelime/lemon, and didn’t bring plates for the apps or shells.The Shrimp was nice size but smelled a bit fishy not very fresh &chilled a bit but not cold & snappy like it should be. It was served closer to room temp yuk ! The clams & oysters were openedbut un shucked, does anyone know how to shuck a clam or an oyster, you don't leave them for the customer to dig & fight toremove them from the shell. If you don’t know how to present & serve shellfish, don’t sell it. Fighting with your food ruinsthe experience. Also served with 2 regular sized huge forks. Asked for clam forks & the waiter returns with just 1 when thereare clearly 2 people sitting there, and should have been included to begin with, did he expect us to share the small clam forkor what ? Ate here Saturday night with a group of friends and the food and service was excellent. The favorites to start were the stuffed... artichoke, make sure and get bread as it’s perfect for dipping in the broth/sauce leftover from artichoke. The stuffedmushrooms and meatballs were also delicious. I had a MASSIVE osso bucco and enjoyed it. Since we had a big group we sat at alarger table but the bar area has a perfect spot to hang out there and grab dinner and drinks too. The word Vespa for over 75 years has been a growing luxury brand. So it is no coincidence for a superb Italian eatery to run... with tge recognized name of Vespa. Because inside are large crimson high booths reminding me of the ones I sat in Venice. Soprivate and comfortable to seat at least five adults or an intimate spot for two! They have multiple dining rooms, an outdoortent as well as a well sized bar. The staff is attentive, friendly, and deliver big smiles- the kind of greeting you'd expect inany restaurant in Italy where food is king! And here, you will find culinary expertise meets quality foods in generous sizedportions. Appetizers devoured included tasty Fried Calamari, creamy Burrata with prosciutto, roasted red peppers in a balsamicglaze, Mozzarella Fritter - a hefty portion with a spicy tomato dipping sauce, a hearty fresh salad topped with shaved cheese, and deliciously seasoned Mussels Verde. And don't forget the toasted garlic bread. We asked for more and more as it was thatgood! Our dinner selections included deliciousness overload with Chicken Scarpiello, Vodka Pasta, large Shrimp with roastedvegetables and pasta, Meditteranean seasoned Salmon grilled to perfection served on mashed potatoes and a lemon butter sauce andPasta Basilico. We had my daughter’s communion at Vespa with @100 people. Our guests absolutely loved it and it was such a nice change from... the typical country club party hall. The food was outstanding (Meatballs, Pizza, Mozzarella Sticks, Caesar Salad, Penne AllaVodka, Chicken Parmigiana/Francese, Shrimp Oreganata and Short Rib). It was a midday Sunday party so we didn't think peoplewould drink a lot. We chose the open bar option rather than a per person $ amount. The drink choices were outstanding and sodelicious, our guests drank a lot more that we thought they would but we made the correct choice with open bar. It was a lotcloser than we expected. Victoria worked with my wife to plan the event. Victoria went above and beyond with everything. Mywife and I were very impressed with her, her staff and the overall service that was provided to us. We had such great meals and fantastic service here. They accommodated our rather large group and gave us a private area. The... appetizers were so good and we were really happy with all our food.
