was excited to try this place when i was out cruising through the valley. lots of options to choose from. i ordered a vegan al... pastor taco, vegan chicken sope and vegan pupusa. was looking forward to having a vegan pupusa and sope but expectations fellshort. i expected the pupusa to be really cheesy but instead it was mostly beans and the meat had no flavor. the sope was bigbut it was mostly due to the masa. the vegan chicken in the sopa tasted like mush and i had no idea if it was soy, seitan, peaprotein, or just something else. what a disappointment. the taco was just ok, nothing great, considering there are better vegantaco spots in LA. i don?t like writing critical reviews of vegan restaurants since im glad more restaurants are promoting vegancuisine but the food here was a let down. i might be back, i might not. if only the vegan meat was more flavorful? Obsessed with this place! I don?t live in LA anymore, but when I come to visit this is the first place I want to go every time!... One of my all time favorite vegan places not even compared to just other Mexican restaurants, but in total. So many options,delicious flavors, cute interior. The menu is vast and the portions are fantastic. I knew when I was visiting I had to come here to try it to support a business... that focused on vegan consciousness. It is hard to find a place where I can not only eat guilt free, I can eat without fear thatmy own health is in peril (good gf options) I had the vegan asada :). I got 2 tacos, and next time I'll ask for extra tortillasbecause they give a bunch of filling per taco (I like to put a tortilla under the taco I'm eating incase anything falls out,then boom, new taco). The limes were juicy (important because I use a bunch of fresh lime in my tacos), onions were yummy, andsalsa verde was good too. The horchata was very cinnamon-y and was large portion as well :).
