Compared to the other restaurants in downtown northville, this one is much larger and has a way bigger seating capacity. If... you're tired of waiting in long lines downtown just to get seated, drive the mile outside of town to Deadwood and you won't bedisappointed. The food is great the drink prices are reasonable and you can get in on a weekend without waiting an hour. Servicewas really quick even with a full house, with food arriving in under 15 minutes. Definitely worth checking out. And I highlyrecommend the cowboy mac and cheese (below). Read more

The appetizers and drinks were the best. The bar service was good! The bbq pulled pork was ok.. but don?t get the Brussel... sprouts, they came out burnt both times. I felt rushed by our server, but other then that it was pretty good. Read more
Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. I had the hot grilled chicken salad and it was fabulous!! My boyfriend had the pot... roast and he loved it. Beautiful decor; a rustic hunting lodge vibe. They have a beautiful bar, private heated outside diningpods and Keno. Friendly and competent staff. Read more
Woodland cabin themed restaurant which serves interesting and tasteful dishes including less typical dishes featuring duck,... venison and buffalo. Their French onion soup was very flavorful. Duck tenders were perfectly cooked and truly tender. Servicewas friendly and expedient. Read more
AMBIENCE: Had a hard time deciding whether to eat inside or out as both places looked so inviting. We chose inside because of... the tree trunks and all the lighting. Loved how the plants in the window boxes outside shown thru also into the dining room andthe little ceiling lights reflected in the windows. (It felt like a woodsy fairyland....if you discounted the moose head on thewall.) The outside landscaping was outstanding. Kudos to whoever is in charge of that. FOOD: One of us had roast beef stew andone of us had a turkey reuben with fries. Generous portions for both of us to take home leftovers for lunch the next day. Thefries were unique curly shapes and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I loved them. The turkey reuben was a bitbland. The roast beef was big chunks and made my partner very happy. Also..on a side note, the carry out containers were extrasturdy and way better than those flimsy styrofoam ones and also came with a carrying bag. Nice touch. The draft beer selectionwas also diversified and well done for this craft beer drinker to be happy with that. CONS: Closes early (9pm). Also, theladies restroom was about as boring and plain as it gets. No special touches in there. Not a one. Clean enough though butwhoever is in charge of the landscaping should be allowed to throw some flowers or something in there. (I always check this outand I've chatted with other ladies about this and we notice that kind of stuff.) PROS: Those patios!
