We went on Father's Day and didn't realize it was a brunch buffet only time, I do want to come back for dinner one day, there... are several entrees I want to try. The buffet was good, well stocked and the drinks were so good. I wanted to update and addthat I've been here a few times since and the food has always been spot on. First time dining at this establishment personally but family has been there before. Our server, Tommy, was polite and prompt on... service. We had the pretzel appetizer along with the spicy shrimp and loaded fries with various entries. While the restaurantwas very packed, the wait was as expected for any dinner time hour. Hubby and I have an excellent dinner here. Our server, Savannah was pleasant and provided excellent service. She was prompt and... made sure our drinks were re-filled. The food was also great and the portion was just right. We tried the ceasar salad withsalmon, BYO burger ($6 deal on Monday and chicken tender stack. All were to our satisfaction. 'Swing and a miss'. My two sisters and I drove around town until we found a restaurant that none of us had visited yet and we... landed at Granite City. The drinks were okay but overpriced. Our family totally enjoyed the Birthday Celebration of my niece @ Granite City Food & Brewery in Livonia MI. Located on 7 ml.... RD. THE STAFF was awesome. Thanks so much to the super wait staff, our private room was great . We received our orders asordered and in timely manner. I giving 4 stars because they were out of ribs. I was very disappointed. But our wonderfulwaitress gave me a complimentary substitute. Love this place. Will be back to try the Cheese Burger Tower. Read more

30 minute wait for lunch. I ordered the prime rib half sandwich and soup. 30 minutes later the waiter lets me know they are... out of the prime rib. I ordered the half of turkey with soup. When the food came he brought me a full turkey with no soup. Thefood was okay but not worth the over 2 hours spent for a turkey sandwich. Decided to give them a second try for lunch. Thistime no wait to sit. We ordered right away. The order came correct However it was cold when it came. Although it had greatflavor even cold. However nice the waitress was she was super slow. Being a vegetarian they didn't have that many options. We had their spinach and artichoke dip which was pretty good, but I feel... the portion size was very small. Tried their Avocado grill sandwich and impossible burger, both were kinda bland. I feel theycould both use some more flavor. Enjoyed one of their signature beer 'The Bennie'. Read more
