Beautiful setting when seated outside by the lake ! My waitresses was perfect! Not annoying ,but popped in and out at the... perfect times ! The food was amazing! I got the grilled Cajun Salmon, steamed clams ,mussels and a bowl of soup ! The foods notcheap but if I wanted cheap I would of went to McDonald's! Read more
5 of us went here for dinner. We sat outside, where the furniture was clean enough, but under the tables and chairs there was... lots of dropped food. 4 of us had the haddock fry, pretty good, FF not so good. I had the Calamai. $17.00. Do not order this, itis terrible, dark colored, odd tasting, nothing like it was a year or so ago. We asked for the cole slaw which was part of thedinner, more than once, never got it. I asked for coffee after dinner, was told they din't have any, however it was on my billand I paid for it even though I never got it. They charge a significant fee here for using any credit card. Total bill for 5people with 1 shared appetizer, the Calamari, and 1 beer or drink each, was $154.92. 1 Corona beer in bottle, $10.00. Total withtax $160.50. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, but not very experienced, especially about beer types. Overall, $185.50for 5 people. Read more
Food was as expected, basic bar food. Atmosphere is what it has going for it. The portions are sizable which makes the prices... higher than they need to be. They charge 3% to use a credit card. I wouldn?t drive here on purpose, but a good stop if you?reout on the lake. Read more

I saw Sport Island when I was looking for a spot to eat after a morning hike. It got good reviews and was close by so I stopped... for lunch. There is a large back patio to enjoy a beautiful view of The Great sacandaga lake while enjoying lunch. I ordered theBurrata Salad and it was really good! I would definitely go back. Read more

Beautiful seating/view on the outdoor patio. Quick and friendly service. Fair prices. Smokehouse Burger was well cooked and... juicy. The Chicken Caesar Tortellini salad was huge and fresh. Chicken wings a a tasty medium sauce, but the wings themself haddry meat with little flavor. Read more
We were up for the weekend from Maryland and happened upon Sport Island by boat. Fantastic food and service. So much so we came... back the next day. Great atmosphere and fun staff. Highly reccomended. Read more
