Was there for Sunday music jam, great place!
We visited on Halloween and the weather was beautiful in the 60's, so we sat outside. They had a limited menu so we ordered... appetizers. However, everything was meat and we are vegetarians so we asked if they had grilled cheese. They said it was notcurrently on the menu but that they could make it for us. It was a hit with the kids! This is a great home town restaurant with a great bar. Our food was served in a timely manner and delicious. Awesome atmosphere.... Friendly, pleasant and great skilled staff. I highly recommend checking this place out. Read more

Looks like a nice spot from the outside, actually a nice building but it was a "local" joint. Bartender was very nice and... understood her job was to satisfy existing customers but she also attempted to make new comers like me feel welcome.Unfortunately the kitchen was closed at 5:45pm on a thursty Thursday. Good spot, I just don't see it lasting much longer. 6 guyscan't keep a bar open. Read more

We visited for dinner tonight. It was out first time here. I had the peanut pork sandwich and really liked it. When I told the... waiter that I was between two meals, he offered to let me try the peanut sauce for the pork sandwich. Our waiter was attentiveand pwrsonable, but not overbearing. We liked that they offered keno, and while we did not play, there were two nice pooltables. There was also a band, but we had to leave before they came on. The fries were delicious, but I would have enjoyed morelarger fries. I had many smaller pieces of the homemade fries. They we're served with an outstanding homemade ketchup. Thisbuilding has turned over many time in recent years. Tavern on the hill has good food. I wish they had seating other than hightoptables. I also would have enjoyed more of the fries on my plate. I'll go back in the future and think it hers should check themout too. We didn't try any apps, but they have a variety of apps that I'd enjoy trying. Read more
Was visiting friends in Boston for the weekend and came for the live music, which was amazing! What was not great was the female... bartender who went out of her way to make me a sign to move and when I did not acknowledge the sign she then let me know shemade the sign for me and has been patiently waiting for me to move. She then would not serve me the rest of the night. Read more
