Run to coals! Pizza with a unique but delicious crust. Crispy wings and an amazing burger. The big mac burger special was cooked... perfectly and delicious. We had to have dessert, and sure enough, that was excellent as well. We will be back, and I'm alreadylooking forward to it. Read more
Fantastic grilled pizza and salads, good beer selection. We were big fans of Coals in Port Chester from the time it opened... until they closed up shop at that spot. This was our first trip to the Norwalk location in the old Fat Cat building, and theydid not disappoint. The pizza is ultra thin crust cooked on a grill, and these guys have it down to a science. All of thestaff were also great and very friendly with good service. Highly recommended. Read more
I ordered take out and pizza is great but I am SO OVER being forced to tip!! And they stand there hovering to see if you'll give... them anything. It was takeout for goodness sake! I can't afford to tip every time I order take out so I guess I'll just stopordering take out. You need the business, your place was practically empty. Maybe you shouldn't keep trying to squeeze everylast nickel out of your customers and appreciate the fact that they're ordering from you in the first place! Read more
After moving to CT from NJ my daughter and i set about, Finding a good pizza shop. AFTER 7 MONTHS OF SEARCHING! finally found... the one! The Pizza here is exceptional! Ok let me repeat the pizza here is exceptional! Its different its amazingly thin, crispand the flavor is something you wont soon forget, we also tried the wings the cilantro wings were also exceptional, ok i use theword exceptional alot, so now we will cover the Service!!, Customer Service here is Exceptional! coals in Norwalk was amazing! Their 'Squealin' Pig' and 'Must Have' grilled pizzas are out of this world. There are many local... thin crust pizza places around now, but I just experienced the best by FAR. I'm typically not a huge fan of lots of ingredientson pizzas, but the balance of spices and sauces on the ones I just had were spot on. Service was wonderful too.
