The oldest restaurant and bar on Washington Street by a long shot with a mostly-original interior. Excellent, basic food,... burgers, fries, good beer selection, etc. with fantastic seasonal specials during Octoberfest, Thanksgiving, etc. Excellent,friendly service, reasonable prices. Read more
I traveled to Norwalk with friends who were performing at Oyster Fest and collectively, we ended up at Donovan's about five... times in the span of a week. The atmosphere was nice, the inside was comfortable, and the staff was running around workingHARD, every time we were there. We sat both inside and outside with plenty of room and a comfortable spot each time. Thedrinks and food were very tasty. Between my group of friends and I, we tried the chowder, shepherds pie, the chili, a burger, asteak and cheese, the chicken parmesan sliders, French fries and buffalo chicken. The crusty bread on the sliders was excellentbut I think the buffalo chicken was our favorite part. This restaurant was conveniently located on the corner of a street thathad other restaurants too. We had never been to Norwalk but it was a great experience for us! I would recommend it and whenwe are in the area again, we will be back! Thank you. Read more
I used to go to this restaurant frequently when I worked in Sono about 6 years ago. My daughter and I just went to Sono for a... lighthouse tour and wanted to use the restroom before that. The server didn't know me anymore but they were still as nice asbefore. They allowed us to use the restroom even without buying anything. Read more

Man, what a surprise how good the food is here! I've ordered the seafood linguini twice and it's slamming. The famous clam... chowder is an award winner and really tasty with lots and lots of yummy clam parts. Fun staff that doesn't tolerate amateurs.;-) Read more
Best burger for miles and miles. Great bar and selection of beers and service is what you hope for; friendly and professional.... My go-to when I want to satisfy my burger or pub food craving. the Staff was amazing to accommodate 12 of us walking up and wanting outside seating, after our orders were taken it started... raining and they quickly and happily seated us inside and got all of our orders correct the food was amazing and the ribs werejust insanely good. Read more
