One of the best pizzas around.., must try : stinger with hot oil ?????..
Finally a place outside of New Haven with that signature well done style. While it lacks that coal, smokey taste, it is fairly... similar in terms of dough chewiness and cheese. However, the sauce tastes rather acidic and could use improvement. Also, why somuch dried oregano sprinkled on though? Improve the sauce and lose the oregano. With few good pizza places in Connecticutoutside of New Haven, this place is an absolute steal if you're in a pinch and looking for something similar. Read more
My wife and I came here for lunch with a few friends. We were told their pizza's and sandwiches are very good. Even though we... had a big group, the reception and service was great! One of the employees patiently took our order with a smile and alsoprovided recommendations on what menu items was worth trying out. They have pizzas in three different sizes. The smallest sizeis enough for a teenager to feel satisfied. The prices were reasonable like any other pizza restaurant. They even have a glutenfree option. Letizia's Pizza is fantastic. The crust is the best part. They cook it perfectly and the sauce is amazing. I've never had to... wait long when ordering ahead which is greatly appreciated on Fridays. The staff is super friendly. I love that the guy behindthe counter cracks jokes about how similar my name is to their restaurant. They know what they're doing when it comes to pies! Iusually get the bacon and hot peppers but the rest of the menu looks great as well. Read more
Yet ANOTHER horrible Norwalk pizza place, that bills itself as great! The place is dirty. The pizza is sloppy. The pizza is... thin and with few toppings. Pretty good pizza, good amount of toppings on my pizza and nicely cooked. The pizza is on the thinner side which is fine by me,... but I know some will prefer a thicker crust. I was excited to try their wings as well, as they're not cooked in the oven andtherefore aren't soft and slimy. The wings themselves were crispy and seasoned, though a bit heavy on the salt. It's OK to grab a pizza or slice and go. You can sit at a table too, but in that case keep in mind there is no bathroom. The... pizza was OKish, nothing special, American pizza. The salad was "here's your chopped veggies, pour on the dressing". Overallit's a simple place. The missing bathroom ruins the experience for me. Read more
