Used to be the best in town, but has not survived COVID well. Food quality has gone down a bit and service quality has gone... down tremendously. Still having a 20% gratuity included on every bill for questionable service, more than 2 years passed COVIDshutdowns, is not something I will ever be doing again. Excellent service and great food! Hands down the best service I have had. Devin and Susan saved Father’s Day dinner. My son... had an unexpected asthma attack and threw up. Post Covid this is even worse than it normally would be because of the fear ofIllness. Devin and Susan hoped into action getting us what we needed and we were able to get him cleaned up. They made us feelcomfortable and Devin had the kitchen rush our food. Such human kindness and great service!! Thank you Match staff!! I can't imagine Washington St. without Match, good thing we don't have to. I've had Swordfish, Scallops and Steak Frites over... the years, and they truly are amazing, but I alway yearn for their Match Burger. Delicious food and amazing atmosphere. The decor here is perfect and mixed with live music and great food, this place is great.... I had the Steak Fritias which was a very large portion cooked perfectly. We also had most of the appetizers on the menu (we hada large group) and they were all amazing. There is a great selection of wine to chit from and the staff was very attentive andfriendly. Read more
