Q doba Norwalk ruined our catering event. Sharing so no one else experiences this. I placed a catering order with one of the... supervisors on Friday for a Saturday private event for food to be delivered between 2:30 and 2:45 pm. Provided my credit cardinfo. Saturday @ 2:45 pm as guests are arriving I reach out and Supervisor on duty informs me they will not deliver the order. Said they called my number. Checked caller id and no calls from anyone on my logs. We asked if they could deliver even smallamount and the answer was negative. Received a half hearted apology, but apologies do not feed guests. Fresh food and 20x better than Chipotle. From the New York area and i loved when Qdoba existed in NY. Cheap prices fresh food... and and the staff was very friendly. All sorts of toppings and ingredients you can choose from to make you... own burrito or anything else from their list of food options for lunch or dinner. I am a regular at this location. The food is always fresh and the crew is always fast and responsive to your needs. I usually have no issues coming here. Today was different. I ordered my lunch ahead of time and I arrived earlier than my pickup... time so I decided to have a seat while the employee helped another customer out. While customer number one walked out anotherwalked in and was picking up as well. Customer number two runs to the bathroom. So I let the employee know I was picking up aswell. By then it was the time my ticket said my food would be ready. It wasn?t on the pickup shelf.. it wasn?t even made. Theemployee told me to give him a second. I go to sit back down. They start speaking Spanish, one employee asks the other if theyneed help he said he got it. Then they proceed to talk about me in Spanish saying, ? this whole time I?m cleaning and helpingcustomers and she?s just sitting there.? Which why the hell does it matter if I?m sitting or standing? I confront the employeeand I guess he was shocked that I understand what he said. We exchanged some words. This was very annoying to deal with! Why areyou so comfortable talking about someone out in the open? Was not even trying to be discreet about it. If I didn?t already ordermy food ahead of time online I would?ve walked out!!
