The food was fresh and very well prepared. Samuel, the owner was delightful. They have several Guatemalan, Honduran, and... Salvadorean dishes. We will be coming back! Read more

I happened to see this place while biking down Main St. and exploring Norwalk for the first time. Didn't know what to expect of... the area cuz I'm not local whatsoever. I went in and the atmosphere was perfect, relaxed place with good music playing. I placemy order for a small lunch plate and they (promptly) bring out a massive spread of not only what I ordered (pasta with shrimp)but a heap of some of the best rice I've had in a long time and a fresh side salad as well. It was some of the best food I'vehad in a very long time and I'll be going out of my way to go there again and again as long as I can. Read more

I don't know why people are only giving 1 or 2 stars. We just went and had a very pleasant experience. People that say pupusas... are thin but then again they are not empanadas where their supposed to have a large amount of filling. Read more

This has got to be the saddest excuse for a pupusa maker. If your looking for good pupusas this isn't it, don't bother. I... ordered 4 pupusas rebueltas (chicharron & cheese). But instead I got thin maza with almost no cheese or chicharron inside. Read more

I love this place. I don’t really know much about Honduran Cuisine. I’m glad I tried it because now I love it!!! The staff... here is very friendly and accommodating. What I love most about Sabor de mi Pueblo (Taste of my Hometown) is its homeyatmosphere which helps every dish I've enjoyed feel like a home cooked meal. The food is why I came, but the feeling of theplace is why I stayed. I recommend that you try the food, you'll love it to. ;-) Read more
