I have been coming to Vargos for 20 + years. It?s always good service and good food. This day I got a pulled chicken sandwich... without the bun (just a little 4 oz cup of shredded roots brand chicken) it was a nice warm protein. I also got French fries asthey are the only thing that is cooked in their own fryer, making it less contaminated by its gluten friends. Topped off themeal with a bumble berry slush float and the total was under $10 and filling! Parking is a little crazy when they are busy butthey keep drive through line going by offering car hops that take pre orders in the line. Read more

We love this place. Just a good old family run business with great food you would expect from a small town ice cream and food... joint. Corn dogs, onion rings, milkshakes to name just a few. Make it a stop when you can. Read more

2 stars because the ice cream is good. But here's what happened when I went to get food too: pulled in & looked at the menu. ... Staff came up to take our order and it took a while because we were ordering for a family of 4. Staff gave us the ice creamfirst which was melting fast (gave us no napkins either). After paying I saw the staff member go up to the truck behind us & saysomething. The truck then left without getting anything & gave us a look. Pulled up to the window & waited. Another car behindus decided to leave (I think after ordering). We got our food & the coney dog was smashed yet on the very top of the items inthe bag. The "bacon double cheese burger" apparently only gets 1 slice of cheese (I guess we can thank the Mcdouble forscrewing up the meaning of a double cheeseburger?). Everything else was fine. In summary, I think the staff doesn't like todeal with actual meals. Snacks and ice cream are what they want to do. Otherwise you're slowing down business I guess? Theydidn't even look at me when handing me the bag of food. If you don't like making the food, just be an ice cream place. If weever go back, and that's a big IF, we'll only get Ice cream. Sorry for ordering food Vargos. I learned my lesson from the staff& dirty looks from people leaving because it took too long. You win, no more business from me. Read more
Vargos is always amazing. I am never disappointed when I order either dinner or just ice cream.
