I didn't know what to expect going here. It was near by and seemed like many people enjoyed it. Food was not great. If you love... garlic this is your spot. Each garlic knot had a solid 2-3 cloves per roll and were soaked in oil. The bread itself was greatbut sooo much garlic. Service was great and the staff was really nice. If you have a gluten allergy or gluten sensitivity, Illiano?s is your place to go! I have loved Illiano?s in Norwich forever,... but this? this is just amazing. I was recently diagnosed with a gluten allergy and it?s been pretty tough trying to find goodfood. HOWEVER, Illiano?s takes the win when it comes to gluten free. Not only was their GF pizza actually filling, but it wasSUPER cheesy, to the point where there were gooey cheeses strings when I lifted a piece. Had a terrible experience from the attitude I got from the initial call to order my pizza for pick up. To being told I couldn't... get this exchanged for a pizza that actually holds up to the illianos standard. Illianos Colchester and east like have alwaysbeen a favorite but Norwich I wouldn't recommend and probably wouldn't return after the experience I've had there. This locationdoesn't carry the illianos quality I am familiar with only the name. Responding to your response. So making a small buffalochicken pizza is out side of the parameters of what you can do? And having decent customer service? You should probably retrainyour staff or fire them and try and start over with someone who can make pizza cause this isn't it. Read more
Lost a loyal customer after 10 years. I used to live right down the road but now have to drive 10 minutes. I could have gone to... 10 other places closer but tried to give them business. All I ask for is some shredded lettuce on the side of my sandwich andhave never before had a problem. Today they want $8 extra. To make matters worse last time I left $10 extra on the counter whenI left because I was distracted. So this is the karma I get for letting that slide. No more going out of my way. Read more
We took my mom to this quaint little Italian restaurant, the service was great and very prompt. The food was very good with... healthy portions. The Stromboli is to die for. The seating is comfortable with tables and booths. The menu has a large selectionof pastas as well as other Italian dishes. There is also many gluten-free meals. Read more
So we got the penne alla vodka and we also ordered a buff chick pizza but got hot sauce with Buffalo chicken and a hint of... pizza. When they say "it's in the sauce"...they dam sure mean it. Spent 10 mins wading through hot sauce before I got a goodlook at my pizza. Hiding something? Compensating?
