Stumbled upon this gem while looking for kitchen cabinets to do a remodel. My wife had seen it in her previous trips to... Norwich, I rarely go there. She hinted about wanting to go and I had my good husband antenna up, BINGO! The restaurant has beencompletely remodeled since the previous owner. No, I'd never been to the previous restaurant but, the decor shows the investmentto make the location successful. The food was great, I'll go back, in the meantime Dickey's has frozen entries in Wal Mart thatI'll coexist on until my next trip to Norwich! Read more

I loved this place. This is one of those places that has a 'routine' to follow. Being a 1st time visitor, the staff behind the... counter graciously offer to walk us through the process. We ordered a brisket plate (w/ potato salad and baked beans) and apulled pork plate (w/ mac & cheese and green beans) and ordered a chili cheese fries and 2 drinks. Our food was amazing and ourbill was just over $50. The restaurant is spacious and clean with ample seating and in the upper dining room there are TVs oneach wall (great for Sunday football--watching 2 games at the same time). They also offered complimentary ice cream. We lovedthe atmosphere and the awesome staff as well as the food. They have a large menu with lots of options--definitely something foreveryone. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend. Read more

Asked for moist brisket, guy behind the counter with all the tattoos thought I said, Extra dry not to much brisket. Nice place... need better food management. Dry cold brisket never works well. Read more

Disappointing. The bbq was mediocre, didn't have special flavor, nothing to brag about. The portions were small, plan on leaving... hungry. I ordered the double meat platter and everything was weighed out. It came with two sides and even the sides were small. The mac and cheese was just plain. The price for the portion of food just isn't worth going here. Read more

I tried Dickey?s for lunch today. The overall experience was good. Order: Pit Dip sandwich, green beans, coleslaw, and a... drink. $20.55 The staff was very friendly. I was greeted when entering the restaurant and thanked again after getting myorder. The food was good. The brisket on the sandwich was a bit tougher than I prefer, but still flavorful and worked well ina French dip. No complaints on the sides. There were 3 sauces available (original, sweet, and spicy). All were good, mypreference was the spicy. Some may complain about the price, but it?s in line with what I?ve paid elsewhere and at least it?snot another diner or pizza joint. Read more

I'm not a huge fan of the setup, and the portions are smaller than I'd prefer. But overall the food was good, I highly recommend... the creamed spinach. And the sauce marked "SW" was great (not sure what that meant) Definitely try it out! Great addition toNorwich Read more

Today was their grand opening. For the first day it went pretty smooth. Service was great, food was delicious and portions were... perfect. Lots of room inside for family or small group sit downs. They had an issue with the card system.. Manager told us tosit, relax, eat and they'll get it working.. which they did by the time we left. Norwich needed this. Read more
