People were friendly but the service was bad. No serving utensils. We ordered chicken and broccoli, but they brought us beef... with broccoli. We sent it back. They returned quickly with the chicken but had just dumped the beef out and replaced it withchicken. There were still pieces of beef in the dish and it tasted like beef. Everything we ordered was if it had been frozen and microwaved 5 times. Specifically, the wraps for the moo shi were hard as... rocks and just broke into pieces when we tried to assemble. The moo shi was bland and pretty much just cabbage. Dumplings weretoo hard to eat, as well as a scallion pancake. Hot and sour soup had no flavor except for an overabundance of pepper flakes.$50 and we only got to eat about $5 worth. I honestly feel insulted that someone would serve me their trash! We enjoyed "properly prepared" moo shu here, just like Joyce Chen in Boston years ago. They use ALL the ingredients needed for... proper taste. And no sloppy sauce of mostly soy sauce as a substitute. 6 pancakes are always needed and Shabu Lee is the veryfirst restaurant that includes 6 with your order. Others charge extra for 2 more! The fried oyster appetizers were special.Six, huge, tasty crust. We'll be back to get every appetizer on their specials black board after the oyster success. Shabu lee is a small Japanese/ Chinese restaurant located in downtown Norwood. This little place serves some of the most amazing... food with very reasonable prices. I?ve never had to chance to dine in at this place due to this on going pandemic but, I?ve hadtakeouts from Grubhub and Uber eats from this place. The food is delicious and the portion size is decent enough. The prices aredecent as well. I?ve tried their wonton dumpling noodle soup, spring rolls and egg rolls and all were fantastic and yum. I?dsurely order again from this place and try some more of their offerings. I?d recommend this place to anyone who wants a decentChinese/ Japanese meal at a reasonably affordable price point. Love the hot pot. The soup only gets better as the meal goes on. The family loves eating here and is always a birthday favorite.
