The first time we visited there on a date night of Saturday was awesome and fun, great service and delicious dishes. The second... time we visited on a week night to celebrate my sister's birthday, we were disappointed for the service was not on point for theserver was new and unprepared, but the worst was no fried plantains, we ordered a few plates of ceviches and was told that therewas no plantains, we thought it was a joke but it was unfortunately true. The dishes weren't completed without plantains. Beside that, we love the ambiance, the drinks and cuisine. We will be back but we will cal ahead to make sure they haveplantains for ceviches. This is my new favorite restaurant! Definitely one of Novato's finest. I'll start by saying it is beautiful and nicely... detailed. The owner(s) and staff clearly know what they are doing and have nice taste. As a designer I really appreciate thataspect of the experience. The Peruvian style menu/cuisine is also a nice addition to a neighborhood dominated by mediocre todecent predictable offerings (I'll still eat a taco any day of the week though lol). The menu selections are full of flavor andso delicious that it's really easy to make yourself uncomfortable...Like i did. Let's talk drinks (haha)... The bar is reallynice (like the rest of the restaurant) and offers really unique and what I would think are authentic Peruvian drinks. I'm notsuper familiar with peruvian culture so I'm taking their word for it. We tried a couple rounds of their Pisco drinks and wasreally delighted with them. I would love to go back and try others. Finally, the service was really good. Again, not knowingmuch about peruvian cuisine and culture I asked a lot of questions and our server was really informative and pointed us to somegreat selections. Went there alone waiting for my friend closing here shop (somewhere else). Got to sit at the bar and made a friend with the lady... who sat next to me. The bartenders were both friendly. Good atmosphere and food! I’m glad I pick this place to hangout bymyself. The views around the parking lot are spectacular! Read more
Food and drinks are amazing here! I’ve been here twice and both experiences with the food and service were flawless. Can’t... wait to try some more dishes, but the beef empanadas and Octopus dishes are by far my favorite! Thank you to Abraham my serverfor excellent service. Read more
Had lunch on the small but nice outdoor patio. The salmon salad was delish, as was the steak with great seasonings and fresh... greens. Cooked perfect. The corn cake was incredible with very flavorful mushrooms. Topped it off with a Black Soul cocktailwhich hit the spot in all the right ways. Read more
Came here for dinner after wine tasting in Sonoma. Ceviches are excellent! Ordered the Ceviche Classico and the Ceviche a la... Crema. Very fresh seafood. Highly recommend For the mains. Tallerines Verdes, pasta was perfectly cooked. The pesto so GOOD! Thegrilled octopus was nicely charred and tender. The arroz con Mariscos has nice flavors. Rice was seasoned well. This place just opened. Our friends in Novato have already been 3 times since it opened, so when we visited from out of town, ... this was their recommendation. No reason to not give 5 stars. We had reservation and sat down immediately. Drinks, great. TheAyawaska Coloda came in copper pineapple vessel. Appetizers, excellent. We had the crab wontons and grilled octopus. All maincourses were tasty. Chocolate volcano with coffee ice cream for dessert, yum! When in Marin County, make a point to come here.I'm sure we'll drive 90 minutes to eat here again. Read more
