I've been to Boca Tavern a handful of times, but most recently they have come out on top. Our waiter was fantastic (we had him... the last two times) Both visits were for a celebration dinner so we enjoyed the extra care he gave. First visit we had the NYStrip topped blue cheese special. Perfection. The deserts are amazing, too! More recent visit was not as memorable but stilltasty. We learned certain nights of the week are specials like $1.00 oysters, 1/2 price bottle of wine, and 8 oz prime rib. Iwill be back! Read more

Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because we ordered 1 of the specials and after much discussion and anticipation, found out it wad no... longer available. ???? Despite this and the tight parking lot, we had a great time! ???? Fun place, nice decor, great service!Awesome as a "neighborhood" bar/ hangout spot. ???? Easily the best restaurant in all of Novato, hands down! The servers are great, the food was wonderful and delivered to the... table quickly. The clam chowder is by far the best I have ever had. I loved everything on my plate. Can't wait to go back! Read more

The food was very good and others said they had the steaks and they were the best every. These people travel a lot. I didn't... taste the steak. Service was excellent. Water was never l lower than half full. These are things I watch. If food is aboveaverage and service is average it's a 4 - for me. I prefer great personal service and average food 4+. If I have a fullexperience of above average to great, it's a five. Read more
