I had the meatball panini with an ice tea for $22. Man this area is expensive. It's a nice restaurant and the feel is quant with... seating on the street. I cannot give this restaurant a rating based upon one average tasting sandwich. The meat in the meatballwas a bit under cooked (red). Don't order fries at an Italian restaurant, I should know better. Been twice. Huge menu. 1st time, dinner. Ordered bottle of wine. Owner, Abe,came our table to open it. I jad stuffed Petrale... Sole w/ asparagus. To die for. One of my friends had scallop rissoto. Ot was good but a little heavy, sticky. The seafood wasfresh. Other friend had ravioli. He loved it. 2nd time : They serve breakfast at lunchtime; at least on Saturdays I had 2appetizers, the artichokes , the shrimp. They were good. My friend had their roasted red pepper soup & a meatball sandwich. Thesoup was incredibly good; not too heavy. And the SANDWICH was delicious. They make their own meatballs. It's not loke a subsandwich. It's this really good meat. The bread is a panini. Different, right? Well it was perfect. The meat was outstanding. Iwas surprised 'cause I'm not into meat that much. Love these place. Went for lunch and had one of their specials, the chicken risotto and their grilled steak salad. It was... absolutely scrumptious. Delightful outdoor dining and great service made for a relaxing meal. Read more
I was excited to eat here but the excitement quickly burned off! The staff was horrid, rude, stand offish, unjust down right... unpleasant. The Sandwich pictured is a crab and prawn, do not get this dish unless you love onions. The only thing you couldtaste was onions, it was horrible, so disappointed. The spaghetti and meatballs was delicious how ever. But no french or garlicbread to go with it no parmesan either. The wait time from placing the order was over 30 minutes, way to long, and no came backto check on is the whole time. To bad as this is a gold mind location with tons of foot traffic and people passing by all daylong. Read more
Tried the beat salad and Hanna's Penne with the secret house tomato sauce. I am still thinking of the pasta dish a day later.... Our meals were delicious. I would describe everything as getting the most out of the simplest of ingredients. Recommend if youare craving Italian food while in or near Novato Read more
Their #glutenfree pasta is delish! The red sauce is just the right amount of spice and sweet, and their drink menu is everything... nice! I?m severe #celiac and have been here several times without incident (although the same waiter always seems a touchconfused, I have yet to be poisoned!). Read more
