I had a party of four and had been waiting for 20+ minutes when a family of 5 showed up and a friend employee let them pass and... were seated before everyone that was waiting. I asked to talk to the manager and he sent a waitress to talk to us and didn?tshow his face. He asked us to call him at another time when it wasn?t as busy. It was unfair to the employee for the managementto do that. Slow service and the chicken fried steak was horrible. The gf waffle was OK and fries but overall this doesn't deserve more... than one star. I usually like IHOP but this is one IHOP I won't revisit. Read more
It's IHOP.... Wait is not too long and food is good. We had a really good service last July 3, 2022. It looks clean and food was... warm and tasted good. You can't expect a fine breakfast - it's just IHOP breakfast .... BTW I like it once in a while. Read more
Service was 5 star. Food was 1 star. Got an omelet. The egg was rubbery and brown. There were bits that were either shell or... dehydrated hash brown, either way...ew. previous visits have been good, so your experience will vary based on kitchen staff. Read more
The food was great and the service we excellent. The price seemed a bit steep at $42 for breakfast for two with tip. Of course,... nothing is cheap in Marin County these days. UPDATE: 3/22 Went back for the first time in a couple of years due to the pandemicand still give it five stars. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The prices have gone up some in the last fewyears, but it's less expensive than most of the restaurants around. It's definitely worth the price. Read more
We stopped at IHOP in Novato while traveling through. The initial impression was a clean restaurant. We were greeted quickly and... sat at an open table. There were only a few other customers at the time, around 4:30 pm on a Tuesday. A visit to the restroomwas unpleasant, at best. My family had to use both bathrooms, both of which had a very strong sewer odor, as well as beingunclean and lacking necessities, like toilet paper and paper towels. The staff is obviously allowing the bathrooms to gounattended. The food we were served was just fine. No complaints there. In my opinion, the store needs to invest in plumbingrepair. The shouldn't be sewer smell venting into the bathroom. Which can then vent into the restaurant. Read more
Seated quickly. Food served quickly and hot. Cooked to order and correctly. A good experience.
As usual, the food was what we expected (we've been here before, often). IHOP is one of our favorite and convenient road... restaurants in Novato. Read more
