Massive portions of really good food! One salad is enough for 3-4 people to share as a side salad. My mother and I shared a... salad and a hamburger and it was way too much food, lol. We had the Magnolia salad, with apples, walnuts, and blue cheese, andthe dressing was so delicious! The hamburger was also really good. Perry's is one of the few restaurant groups that actually provides great service, great food and wonderful restaurants. Their... newest place in Novato at the former Wild Fox, has also hit the ???? You do NOT need to queue up in line, pay for your meal inadvance, grab a number on a metal stick and then look for a table. We went to Perry's in Novato for the first time. Felt good to be back at this site again. Such a great venue for a restaurant.... We had lunch in the lounge on Sunday and it was starting to really get busy. Glad they are pulling in the business. We hadthe Fried Ahi Tuna, one shoestrings and Fried Chicken Very good. The mashed potatoes were perfect and the chicken was crispy. I had a glass of the Perry Cab and it was delicious. Our waiter / Bar keep was Brian. Brian did a great job of serving andentertaining us. Hair in both dishes. Bad taste in food, couldn’t tell if it was in French fries, last bite of first half of Reuben or in iced... tea. No service from waiter. Long wait for drinks. Bartender who brought wine got the iced tea. Waiter never returned tocheck on us (wanted mustard). If I get food poisoning, we will know where it came from. Read more
Had dinner tonight at Perry’s. The wait staff were great, attentive, personable and I never had to ask for anything extra,... she brought it all! Food was delicious, great variety of my favorite dishes, coffees and desserts. Large portions and a veryfun atmosphere. Bar area and dining area were packed. I will definitely be back! Read more
I went in with the fam for a week day dinner and to see the new restaurant. it used to be Wildfox which was a nice & decent... place to take the family for a good meal. It was even a decent date place too. When we went in it was pretty busy. Lots ofpeople, lots of noise. I understand that as it is a new place and everyone and their mama is curious so no big deal there. Thelook is clean, simple with accents of bay area culture and their own history which is a cool touch. Anyone can walk in and feelcomfortable. Not too stuffy, definitely not a dive. Hardwood floors and open spaces so the noise really accumulates. It's evenso noisy that if you call in to make a reservation you cant even have a conversation with the host/hostess due to the noiselevel. The nice thing is that the food is good. Pretty generous portions (your definitely not leaving hungry) and the pricingis in-line with portions, quality, etc. My only gripe is the fried chicken was a little dry but not the end of the world. We gotcalamari as an app and it was delicious. All 4 of us really liked it. Breading was right and it wasn't soggy which is one of mypet peeves. One thing that struck me as odd (really odd actually) is that there was a large table of older folks not far fromus and one of them had a medical emergency that required the Novato FD to show up and cart this person out. Emergencies happenand that's just the human condition. What I thought was odd in this case was that their party just remained for a while andtalked amongst themselves after NPD carted their friend out. :-0 Hopefully that person is OK. Anyways, swing by, check it out,have a drink (bar looks decently stocked BTW) and enjoy with friends & family. If you happen to be in the company of Friends &Family just be sure they are the ones to meet you at the hospital after they finish their meals & drinks lol. Read more
Great service from Alicia! Big portions for the price, ended up eating half my fried chicken and taking the rest home. Clam... chowder is delicious, almost compares to some chowder from up the coast in Fort Bragg. Chicken BLTA was good, notfantastic. For 2 people we ordered 2 soups, 2 entrees and 2 glasses of wine for $100. Both took leftovers home so I consider itreasonably priced. Read more
Hope you have a deep wallet, and some patience. Food was delicious but my friend ordered the medium rare and I ordered the... medium with no pickles or onions on the side. It was also missing the cheese. Good thing we are still friends. Read more
