Had a pretty good dinner. As a table of four we ordered a lot. But we wanted to catch the happy hour. Got discounted oysters and... I believe drinks. Ordered a French dip, farmers salad, dozen oysters, filet mignon, French onion soup, and bread and butter. Fordessert we had creme brulee and s'mores sundae. We had about two bottles of prosecco. And the waiter was really nice. I felt acouple things were over priced and not enough food given. All the food was really good, but I felt the price for the farmerssalad was a bit high for the amount you get. Maybe it was just the shape of the plate. Read more
Take a trip to Rickeys and feel like you are on vacation. Enjoy food and live music by the pool. Friendly service and many great... food options. I have been to this place 6 times or more. I always enjoyed it tremendously. Went there last week. The maitre d was very... rude to us and near the end of our meal a big dog came out from under a table and shook wildly which showered us and our tablewith dog hair. Fine dining and dog hair do not mix. I'll never go back. Read more
In a word: Impressive We didn't know what to expect for menu or ambiance....okay, maybe we were expecting cafe-style, since... Rickey's is attached to a hotel (albeit, a wonderful hotel), but we were impressed! Rickey's is gorgeous and their staff isamazing! We were there on a Saturday during happy hour, when they offer specials for both the food items and drinks menu. We hadthe calamari and the prime rib French dip sandwiches...and several type of drinks. We loved their bartender! He was bothknowledgeable and kind. Food and drinks were the best. I had forgotten about this place. I had the short ribs served on a bed of mashed potatoes. Excellent but a bit on the light... side. I would have appreciated two pieces if meat. One was a cheap shot. Great martini in a huge martini glass. Our server wasvery attentive. Read more
I came for a business outing and it did not disappoint. For happy hour, they have a dozen clams for $12. I guess thats pretty... good, so my colleague orderes 2 dozen, and he said they were great. The rest of the meal was good. I had thick pork chop, which was tasty. Read more
Food was 4 stars, overall experience was probably 2. The atmosphere is great, but a single server had the whole outside and some... tables inside and was clearly stretched. One dish was put in for the wrong table and took almost an hour to get to us. Then,some food was brought out we didn't order (for a different table), which they claimed successfully, but then we were charged forit...not sure how it got on our bill. The server fixed that when I brought it up, but overall the experience was not great. Lovethe music and will give another try sometime. Read more
