Was good! I’ll be honest, I had not had Detroit style pizza before and it was better than StL style but not as good as NY or... Chicago style. I still have 5 stars because it’s not the restaurants fault my preference sis not that style and I would goagain. My service was great and the bees knees cocktail was yummo! I had the pizza margherita. I liked that there were dairyfree and gluten free options on the menu for those who need that. Spent 27$ on the small pizza and one cocktail. I put in an order for 11:30am on Monday (11/9/2021) around 11am or just right before. When I got to Buddy's around 11:40am, a... technical error prevented my order from showing up on your computers side which was fine. Jen and Collette were amazing and arean exemplification of excellent customer service. It was BECAUSE of Jen and Collette that took care of me and got me sorted,that I didn't mind waiting. My order was an 8 square Oktoberfest and an 8 square BBQ Conant. Comically, the pizza maker madetwo 4 squares to which, it was just an mistake of misheard/miscommunication which Jen communicated to me when it came out so Iwaited for another two 4 squares to come out. I really appreciated the transparency provided to me by Jen or Collette. Duringthe wait, Jen and Collette made sure to check in with me every step of the way to make sure things were okay so I gotta say, anamazing superb job well done by both ladies at the carryout sector. I could never find this kind of customer service inCalifornia. Overall the wait wasn't too bad even with the hiccups and any criticism I could've had were immediately wiped outby the super customer service provided by College & Jen. The pizza was delicious. 4.5 ? but I'll round up. I ordered the BBQ contate(?) Pizza and a Moscow mule. 13 and 10 dollars respectively. They were both... great, albeit pricey. The pizza took over half an hour to get to me though, which was frustrating. For the ambience and thequality, this spot is worth a visit for Detroit style pizza. Read more
