Server was great and food tasted good but it took over 2 hours to get some of the meals. We received our meals at different... times. Some of us had been done eating for about an hour before the last meal arrived. The last meal only arrived after Iapproached the manager about about it. Not a good night for them. What a disappointment! Definitely lacking customer service. I ordered spring rolls, which are fried.... They brought vegetable rolls- which are fresh and cold. I knew it was wrong, but since they were SO understaffed that night, Ilooked at the ingredients in this roll, and thought i would try it, rather than wait another 25min for food. I?ve been going here for years and at the beginning they were great! But things have deteriorated greatly to the point I don?t... bother coming anymore. The servers are always nice and pleasant even though they are understaffed and it takes a while to getanything. The menus on the other hand are horrendous! Extremely dirty and falling apart with pages coming out. I feel likewashing my hands after flipping through it. They have lots of food choices which is great but the food is underwhelmingespecially for the prices. The way they serve some of their dishes leave me scratching my head as to who thought THAT was a goodidea. Crispy spicy shrimp? Not after a bucket of sauce as been poured on top it?s just a sweet soggy mess. Everything is eitherbland, doesn?t look fresh, or a mess. Stopped by Stopped in for a friend's birthday dinner and was not disappointed. Very clean when on a Saturday evening, prime... time dinner. Such a variety on the menu, but not over welming, chose their Pad Thai, it was amazing, and they brought out afree treat for my friend for her birthday, so impressed. I was concerned about this place after reading so many negative reviews, but I decided to try it for myself. The server was... attentive and polite. The food was ok, I had the bulgogi with brown rice. The rice was very good. The bulgogi needed more spice.My daughter had the sour and spicy soup, she didn't care for it. She said it was just sour, no spice. My husband had the padthai which he ordered spicy. He said it was bland and lacked spice. The food wasn't horrible, but it certainly wasn't memorable.I have had better elsewhere. Too bad, it could be a great place. Read more
Dined at Pi for the first time this afternoon (1/24/16). We stopped for a late lunch (around 3pm) so the restaurant was pretty... quiet. The dining area was clean, our waitress was at the table immediately for our drink order. The menu is prettystraightforward with an Appetizer section (did not order appetizer) and then sections for Soup/Salad, Sushi, Korean/Japanese,Thai and Chinese. I had the Hibachi Steak and Shrimp (Japanese) and my wife had the Sweet & Sour Chicken (Chinese). Service wasvery good - our food was out quickly and waitress stopped to check on us at least twice.She was very friendly and seemed happyto be serving us - I tipped generously. The Hibachi was delicious - the steak was cooked perfectly (medium) as was the shrimp.Not overly salty which is a mistake a lot of Asian restaurants make - if I want it salty, I'll make it that way. I ordered thefried rice (white or brown are no-cost options) and there was a generous portion of vegetables although it was mostly onions.Also included a dipping sauce that I didn't try - the steak, shrimp and veggies were seasoned just right and had just the rightamount of oil/soy sauce. My wife enjoyed her chicken, she also had the fried rice and veggies. I ate the egg roll that camewith her meal, it was small but very good. All in all, a very good meal for about $30 including tip. We live just far enoughaway that if I ordered carry-out it might not be very warm by the time we got home. Which is too bad because I think I'd enjoyPi much more frequently. A little bit of a strange ordering and pick up setup, the food made up for it. Bibimpab was enjoyable and filling.
