Saturday Nov. 12; Dinner - Reservation waited 40 minutes to be seated. Chef was not available until 1.5 hour after seating.... There were 15 at our table (with 6 children) who all had the same experience. Discussed with Owner that they should not seatguests or they should provide wait times when they know of outrageous wait times or had staffing issues. Looking at previousreviews - this may be a known problem and has not been addressed. We have had good experiences in years past, but will not goagain until serious change is considered. Read more

I’d give them a -1 ?? but unfortunately I can’t. The staff had a bit of a bad attitude but most specifically our server who... was very rude and threw the plate at my wife; she didn’t even know what the difference between two items in the menu were whenI asked her but she suggested both where the same lol. Noodle soup I ordered was average but sushi, you can judge looking at thepictures, worst than home-made sushi super thick and flavor was just OK. Lastly, the place was freezing cold but even thoughother customers complained, one of the staff members said management was aware of it but didn’t do anything about it. Read more

My family and I love the atmosphere this place brings, the food is amazing and so are the cooks that cook it for you! I... definitely recommend coming here on a not busy day though, this past visit we were the only ones there. But back in February wewaited over two hours for our reservations. They were short staffed which made it difficult to get seated which has beenhappening a lot with covid. So of course my husband and I were skeptical on coming back last week but my parents insisted on itsince the food is so good. And they are right! My husband and I would definitely come back here just on a day we know won't beslammed!!! Read more

Let me be honest here. The service was terrible. It took 30-40 to min to get our food. Usually soup and salad is first but they... didn’t even give us that ahead. The drink we got was pretty good, and the sushi was amazing too. But when we asked for extrawater they gave us a takeaway cup with black steaks on it saying that they ‘ran out’ of glass. I know how it feels to workin the service industry, been there done that, but except for the one guy who kept running around taking orders and waitingtables the other staff just kept on squatting and playing on their phone and just talking the whole time. The lack of trainingthese newly hired school kids had were so evident that they didn’t even want to be there at work. Sadly I wouldn’t recommendthis spot to anyone. Read more

As many of the other reviews have stated, this place is quite rough. It smells when you walk in and the service is incredibly... slow. We had a lunch reservation for 30 minutes after they opened and were the only party in the restaurant. Somehow still, wewere not served until almost an hour and a half after being here? It was as if their chef wasn’t there yet and they werestalling for time? Additionally, the place is incredibly dirty and run down. I did not feel comfortable eating here and wouldnever recommend. It’s very unfortunate because the food isn’t horrible (but also not that great either) From what I’veheard, this place used to be pretty great, so not sure what happened? Read more

We've been coming to his wonderful Hibachi location for years before they opened their second location in Livonia (Sapporo -... equally great definitely check them out!). We recently had chance to dine here again after a long day at a local convention andI'm happy to report the service and quality has not faltered! They don't force you to have a 'full table' before startingservice like bigger chains do. The prices are more reasonable and the flavor and quality of food are wonderful. The chefs arealways a fun interactive dining experience. Definitely recommend when you're celebrating a special event for a greatnight! Also word of the wise for Hibachi Virgins: you don't want to get hibachi *before* heading off to another big event, hibachi is the event but also - being so close to the grill while your food is being cooked means your hair and clothes mightsmell like smoke and deliciously prepared food the rest of the night! Went out for lunch on 7/25/21. When we first walked in it smelled musty. We got a table within 5 minutes. When we sat down we... couldn’t smell anything anymore really. We sat by the window, it was nice and warm, but very dusty, Cobb webs and spider webs, definitely needs to be cleaned. Our waitress was very “comfortable” to the point where she was trying to stir the sugar intoour tea by touching our straw when we were already stirring it ourself, very unprofessional in my opinion. She was also sittingdown while taking other customers orders, like I said very “comfortable” and not very friendly or personable. Orderedlettuce wraps as an appetizer that were really good. Also ordered the appetizer combo which came with edamame, shrimp wontons, chicken wontons and shrimp spring rolls. None of the items from the combo appetizer were very good, they were dry and bland. Ourappetizers took 20 plus minutes to come out and we barely got a lettuce wrap in and our entree came, definitely bad timing. Wegot 4 different sushi rolls. They were so-so. I’ve definitely had way better service and food basically anywhere else. Thehost was very polite and friendly, and personable, I wish he could have been a waiter. I will not be back to this restaurant. Read more
