Get an extra pizza and take it home for later, it was excellent after about 5 minutes in the oven! Very good experience and... friendly staff. Also reasonably priced. We started with some beer, it was standard and nice. We had the chicken bites for anapp, they were good and crispy. For the entre we had a pizza with perciutto. The crust was perfect and the saltiness of theperciutto was spot on, a good compliment to the mozzarella. On the way out we ordered a Margarita pie to take home, since we hadgone out earlier that night. It cooked really well at home later that night. Luna Tavern is a local Italian restaurant that specializes in pizza and pasta dishes but has a wide range of selections to... choose from. The pizza is some of the best I’ve had in the area. The crust is always cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Irecommend trying Calabrese if you’re into spicier dishes. The atmosphere is cozy which means it can get loud on a busyFriday/Saturday evening when the bar and tables are full. There is also limited outdoor seating in the back. Parking is the backis metered so be prepared to bring $1-1.50 for 2-3 hours. Read more
Place look very nice, we had a brick oven pizza(fusaro pie) and a Luna salad, then we share a appetizer Fusilli Forno( had ... artichokes, fresh ricotta, red peppers, and a creamy tomato sauce) I wash it down with a Tito lemonade on ice.Overall a greatexperience, portions are big , very nice service , nice place to have a night out with the family. This place is one of my all time favorites! Great food, ambiance, and service. There is a parking lot right behind it which... makes things easier if you go at lunch or even dinner. They do offer outside dining too. Luna is a family run operation and theyhave photos of their babies and good times hung which gives it a very warm and family feeling. A local bar with great customer service. Nicole the bartender is amazing. She was great multitasking and still she was always... checking on us. We liked it so much we went a week after and Nicole remembered us and the food we liked. The portions aregenerous and the bake oven wings are juicy and tender. Read more
The Red Sangria is my favorite from here if you’re from the area! Luna has great portion sizes, for all areas of the menu! I... got the blacken salmon which was seared to perfection. OMG where to begin? I tried for a couple weeks to get a reservation during the end of the pandemic but couldn’t. Finally after... the restrictions were lifted we got a spot. My wife and I ordered margaritas and WOW they were strong but very delicious. Mywife ordered the chicken Milanese salad and she loved it. The chicken cutlet was huge with a balsamic glaze that was amazing. Iordered the skirt steak (medium) with mashed potatoes and veggies (I’m trying to quit veggies, I didn’t eat them) but thesteak was amazing and the mashed potatoes were amazing as well!
