Food was ok at best. Home fries was not cooked or browned enough, I could still taste the raw potato. Waffle was not crispy or... not even browned. Very hard to flag someone down for a coffee refill. With all that, it's not cheap! Read more
Yesterday I went to Nutley Diner for breakfast. The food was absolutely phenomenal! I had ordered the New Yorker Breakfast Bowl.... It consists of Grilled Steak w/ Home fries, Mushrooms, Red Onions, Peppers, & Mozzarella. Topped with 2 eggs over easy (yourchoice). And for the side I ordered their Sautéed Asparagus w/ Garlic & Olive Oil. My guest ordered their French Toast Napoleonfor breakfast. It comes with French Toast topped w/ Strawberry, Bananas, & Whipped Cream. And dusted with Powdered Sugar &Cinnamon. They also ordered the Chicken Sausages on the side. My breakfast bowl was AMAZING! The steak was seasoned and cookedto perfection. The home fries were on the money and the eggs and other veggies were extremely fresh and phenomenal in flavor!Best breakfast I had in a long, long time. The sautéed asparagus were absolutely tantalizing. It was such a great pairing toadd with the breakfast bowl! The guest I was with said that their breakfast was really good as well too. Great local diner with the usual American style fixings. The service is all around fantastic, and the food was great. I enjoyed... my Hungry Man breakfast, good french toast, good pancakes. And the coffee refills kept on coming! Downside is no free parking,but it's about $0.50 for an hour in the municipal lot. Read more
Food delivery was fast. The waitress disappeared after the food was served. She gave me one paper napkin to deal with my mess.... I had to ask for a refill on my coffee as I feel good service is asking me if I want a refill. I don't want to look for mywaitress or waiter. Read more
We came for brunch and had such a short wait time upon arriving. Food was delicious and came out so quickly. The French toast... was so good, as well as the quesdialla. The menu has a wide variety of things to choose from. Read more
A dinner for 2. I had a chicken, bacon, Swiss & avocado sandwich with fries. She had the 3 slider cheeseburger and disco fries... appetizers. I had a fountain diet Pepsi. Everthing tasty. Great staff & atmosphere. Decent parking. We didn't use bathrooms.Note that some parking is free. Other parking is pay. Overall a good eatery. Read more
