High quality food, attentive waitstaff and some live Italian crooning to go along with it. Everything was delicious. The tables... must have been added by a Tetris record holder. A little piece of Italy! The atmosphere and the food are both superb; from the owner greeting you at the door to fresh and... visible spice garden, this place is truly authentic. It starts with fresh baked bread. Perfectly airy and crispy, but this isnot a butter spot - although you could probably get some. They give you this garlicy/Italiany dip which is out of this world. Iwould literally drink it, plus it can be used to dip pizza crust in. Speaking of pizza crust, we got the Diavolo, which is amargarita pizza which suppersota....it's no joke. Perfectly salty, obviously coal fired and fresh basil make it the perfectbite. As you know we are big calamari people, and they do it right! Not overly salt and great homemade marinara dipping sauce.For the entre we got the Penne Ala Vodka and it was rediclous. What I like is that they have a more wet, milky sauce here thatfalls to the bottom so the pasta stays al'dente. They shred fresh Parmigiano on top and finish it with basil. These simplyingredients done right are delicious! This place is attached to a bakery so naturally we got the oreo cake for dessert. It wasso tasty and decadent. The rainbow cakes on the side were the perfect flavor compliment. We had two espressos - a must after anItalian meal, and they were obviously great. The staff are all amazing and you can tell it's a family atmosphere, they make youfeel so welcomed. During dinner the owner will sing beautiful Italian music for the restaurant, which adds culture.I would sayyou should get a reservation because not surprisingly, they get packed! Oh and it's a BYOB which is always fun. They prefercash, just an FYI. Which is typical of this type of venue. Overall I give Queen Margherita Trattoria a 4.7 out of 5, a mustvisit Italian experience. The owner is super nice and friendly. The food is great. We love the margarita pizza, prosciutto and arugula pizza and the veal... Milanese. Honestly we always feel like we?re back in Italy when we dine there. The food in the picture isn?t on the menu butthey still accommodated my request. Read more
Adding my two cents just to echo what most everyone is saying about this place: the food is excellent and fresh and the staff is... courteous and friendly. We went for lunch, they have a very affordable lunch menu with most of the main favorites anyone mightwant at an Italian restaurant. Highly recommend and will likely go again often! Read more

Absolutely delicious. Enjoyed an early Saturday dinner at the cozy Queen Margherita Trattoria in Nutley, NJ. Our server Melissa... was very kind and attentive during our dinner. On todays menu was the octopus, flounder Mediterranea, and sea bass. The octopuswas spectacular. Perfectly grill with the right tenderness. The fish was flaky as it should with a delicate cleantaste. Presentation of the plate also deserves 5 stars. Highly recommend and will be returning to try the popular pizza in thespring. Read more

Authentic Italian restaurant in Heart of Nutley. Food is very fresh including bread and home made pasta. They serve very soft... bread with amazing spicy garlic dip. We ordered penne Ala vodka, chicken Parm and both the dishes were amazing. They haveamazing desserts to select from, my personal favorite is Tiramisu.
