I have high standards for Thai food since my Thai family has been cooking it at home for as long as I can remember. The King and... I has food that feels like home and tastes like all the dishes you crave from Thailand. Their menu is huge with many things totry! I love their curry puffs, crying tiger (marinated flank steak), green papaya salad and mango sticky rice! The whole RedSnapper is also delightful to share for the table. King and i has recently changed ownership and the new owner delivers even a better experience than the past dining experience.... The new owner is American and speaks English perfectly so if youy have an issue please ask for Micheal. however his wif, is athai chef so get ready for homemade Thai food that uses the perfect balance of spices. This makes for incredible experiencelike you are at. 5 star restaurant i Bangkok. The service is excellent. I was not paid for to write this review. I've been to the King and I restaurant several times and each time it's just as good. Friendly staff, great service, and... delicious food. Great decor throughout the restaurant, and even a fun eat-in sunroom off the street. Plenty of vegetarianoptions, and you can pick your protein for alot of dishes. My favorite is the Pad Thai and Thai Iced Tea. And the desserts aredelicious too! It's also family run by a pair of sisters, which makes it even better! Always look forward to coming back. Read more

Amazing food with a caring and kind staff. I ordered the Crying Tiger (flank steak) comes with a yummy ginger dipping sauce and... white rice. The steak was juicy and delicious! The dessert was so good too! Coconut ice cream with fried banana. The ice creamwas thick and creamy with coconut flakes and the banana was so yummy. The staff were very kind and welcoming. It seems there wasonly 2 members working that night so waiting to be attended to was a bit longer than expected, but understandable for how busyit was. Nevertheless, this is a great family owned restaurant that I will definitely be coming back to! Read more
