The Maple bacon donuts got smaller and the priced high. It was better back in 2015.
We had all our wedding desserts from here including brownies for our rehearsal dinner, our strawberry shortcake wedding cake and... our wedding favor red velvet and vanilla with chocolate frosting cupcakes. Super disappointed. I had raved about the apple fritters after having one several years ago and so the over an hour long wait in... a long line that did move swiftly on my return trip to MV was full of anticipation. I bought 2 and a few diff donuts to try. The fritter barely had apples. Visited around 9pm on a Wednesday in mid-August. Had to queue for about 20 minutes but I was in a group so it was easy enough to... chat and pass the time. Kind of fun as an experience, would probably be a bit of a faff if you were by yourself and just wantedto get some donuts and go. The donuts we tried were all very tasty, decent value for money. The apple fritter blew me away! While all other reviews gushed about its excellence, I never expected it to be THAT delicious.... The fritter is really the only pastry you need to try here. I couldn?t control myself and also got the cinnamon roll, glazeddonut and boston cream donut but was left undazzled. If I could go back, I would only get the apple fritter! Read more

One Apple fritter, a half dozen glazed donuts and a custom chocolate cake with chocolate icing later and it never gets... old. Amazing donuts, Apple fritter is the best in my opinion. The donuts are almost as good. As far as the cake goes. Ipersonally think there wasn?t enough actual cake and too much icing. Birthday woman thought differently. You can decide fromthe picture? The back Door Bakery is just that! You line up at the back door of the bakery in the evening for delicious hot freshly baked... items. My friends got the hot apple ???????? fritters which were absolutely huge, they were practically the size of an 9inplate, myself having a slightly different taste palate got to hot and Gooey delicious cinnamon roll. I have never seen acinnamon roll so big and baked to perfection!!! I could only eat one third of it before I was stuffed, and let me say our scoopsof vanilla bean ice cream we had with it took it over the top....
