Excellent food, the fish and chips were fresh, crispy and savory, fried just right. The lobster was one of the best, large... generous portion filled with large chunks of lobster (not shredded like other places). The bread was great as well. Generousportions of French fries as well. The staff was very friendly. The decor was spacious typical of a seafood restaurant. Thelocation is just right. Will definitely come back to try the clam chowder. Read more

My friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner our second day in Martha’s Vineyard. The food was excellent! The ambiance... was nice and the customer service was superb. The New England Lobster Roll was amazing. The starters were all great, calamari,fried oysters and seafood medley crab cakes. The cocktails were fantastic! They delivered on the promise of a great bowl of chowder. One of the best cup of chowder I have had in a while. The atmosphere... is very nice -inviting and unassuming. Loved the seafood here everything was fresh and had great taste. We also tried their local beer and it was amazing too

The Chowder will get better in due time. The service was extremely slow. We waited 50+ minutes for our food that would usually... take 20 minutes to get ready. I will return and hope for better service. Read more

Highly Recommend Chowder Company. I’ve eaten there numerous times and never been disappointed in the slightest. I’ve noticed... it’s always clean, food is hot, and never served sloppy. Staff is friendly and helpful if you have questions about anything. Irecently tried the new Kelp Burger and found it to be very good. The chowder is honestly the best tasting I’ve everhad. Having grown up in the restaurant business I consider myself to be a very good critic on Dino g out. I might add I’vegotten takeout a before too and never disappointed. I was looking for some good fish and chips, and saw some great looking pictures of the menu items here and figured it was worth... a shot. The fish and chips were so good! I love how the batter was nice and thin, light, and crispy! You also got a huge pieceof fish which I ate right up! Our server was great and very attentive.
