My wife and I went to Nancy?s for lunch upon a recommendation from my son who had visited on a prior stay in Martha?s Vineyard.... He suggested a cocktail (Coco Loco Margarita) that they serve there and indeed it was quite good, as was the view and clamchowder we had. Where Nancy?s falls into deep trouble is with its service. From start to finish, we were treated as though wewere a grave inconvenience. The hostess who greeted us was atrocious in her demeanor. At every turn, our server communicatedthrough her speech and actions that she wanted us to order and get the hell out of there as soon as possible. Needless to say,we shall never return there and I would not recommend it to anyone unless they don a cowbell around their neck! Read more

I visited for lunch during the busiest week on the island. The third week of August has unprecedented crowds annually. As a... result, there was no seating, and the place crawled with people. While the food was good (we sat on a bench near the water),I am not sure it was worth the hassle. The view, however, was fantastic. Read more
Very good! Nancy's Shrimp Small Plate was delicious and the whole Lobster fairly priced and succulent! Chowder wasn't as thick... as I like but still tasty! Short ribs very tender too! Read more
Atmosphere: It?s right on the pier. Beautiful place. Always packed. Indoor and outdoor seating. I mean it?s Martha?s Vineyard,... You know the vibe. Wait time for seating: 25 mins to an hour (it really depends). Make reservations Order to table time: 10-15minutes (not bad at all given how packed it is) Food: I ordered grilled salmon. It was cooked to perfection. With that manypeople, I thought the food wasn?t going to be as good but I was surprised. One of the people in our part ordered their lobsterroll and love it. Overall a great place. If the wait is long no worries. There?s plenty to do. Also, if you?re gettingfrustrated due to longer wait. The Lobster roll was good, but not worth the price for the amount you get its the size of a Hot Dog. I know people love this... place but I was shocked that for 1 Lobster roll and $4 French Fries we $41 dollars meaning the roll alone was $30 plus bc I didleave a tip. I mean dang it. I really wanted so bad to give more than. 2 star, but I have to be honest. Food was so under par. Chefs can do... so much better. We had fish tacos, hello! Where is the fish in this taco?!??? Had a salad with no flavor in the dressing. Thecocktails barely had any liquor in it and served in a plastic cup, whaaaa? The smell in this place was musty.
