Staff not very professional. Watching soccer have and singing happy birthday to a staff member and bringing out cake. Staff... should have a private place for things like that. A server on break was eating her sandwich at the bar while on her break. Hadto wait a while for drinks, appetizer came out first. This place had lost its charm. The food was adequate, in presentation and taste. The Jambalaya linguine fini pasta was better than the Carne asada pizza. The... dough on the pizza was more chewy than I would prefer for a regular thickness crust. It was not burnt on the bottom but at thesame time was not airy or fluffy like a good regular crust should. The service was very slow between ordering to receiving thefood. Probably due to the staff shortage there were few wait staff serving many tables. Read more
Was there for a work event outing and our event organizer ordered a variety of pizzas to eat family style. I tried a variety of... their pizzas mushroom, chicken onion and garlic, and supreme all of which were delicious. My favorite was the mushroom, I lovewhen fresh ingredients are used this was the case. I wish I could fit more I would have tried their marguerita, cicilian orbarbecue chicken. The service was excellent, I had a spritz drink it was perfect! At the time we might have been the onlycustomers, this was on a Wednesday around 3pm. Read more
The food here is very good but be aware that the food here is super, duper expensive!!!!! A small pizza cost $18.99!!!!... ????????????????. I had 2 adults & 3 boys. I had to order 4 of the small pizzas & they were still hungry! ????. I ask for abigger size pizza but they only have 1 standard size pizza!!!!! ???? I only pick this place because it was a cross from SandboxVR. I never checked the menu ahead of time! I didn't even had time to take pictures because the boys devour the food so fast! Went there at 5:00 today (Monday) and there was probably only 5-6 other tables being served. I arrived before my friend who was... en route upstairs. I told the hostess I would wait for her to arrive. After only a minute of standing there, the hostess saidshe would be seating me now even though I explained I was waiting for a friend. Fine, not a big deal. We were seated at 5:05.5:35 rolled around and we still had not been seen by a waiter or waitress though multiple servers including the same hostessfrom before AND a manager had passed us. There was probably only 3-4 other tables that had been seated in that amount of timeand half the restaurant was still empty, so it was not by any means chaotically busy. We finally flagged down the hostess andsaid we’d been waiting here for 30 minutes, and instead of an apology or offering to get us waters all we got as an “OkayI’ll find your waitress.” It took another five minutes before we finally got a waitress who gave a half apology with theexcuse that no one had told her it was her table. Perhaps this was true but I was still a bit upset that literally no onequestioned our presence for the last half hour. We were luckily able to get our drinks and food in a fast amount of time.However, it had maybe been just 10-15 minutes later while we were both still actively eating when the waitress rounded on us andasked if she wanted her to take our plates. We were both still actively eating and there was nothing to indicate we were doneeating; in fact I was mid-bite! All that sitting there and waiting and now it felt as though we were being rushed out. I haveprior serving experience and am one to sympathize with understaffed and overworked restaurants, but that was not the situationtoday. We went to this place while shopping at Oakbrook mall. As expected, we were tired and were kind of hungry. The time they took to... take our order was long but once ordered food was delivered quickly. Overall, pizza was great but not the scampi. Woulddefinitely visit but with time allotted for ordering. I am 28, my family and I have been going to this location since my teen years. The service is always amazing with a friendly... staff. Every time I go to Oakbrook, I have to get a delicious Caesar salad, and red velvet cake. The pizza and avocado rolls arealso some of my families faves. Read more
We waited for 30 minutes to be seated, there were five tables open that could have fit us, when we sat down we waited another 45... minutes to get our orders taken, that would have been okay if there weren't servers just standing around looking around, theywere having one person do the entire restaurant, finally after another 20 minutes we got food that was extremely expensive, andthat was mediocre at best, the sauce on the pizza was still cold, and the dough was not fully cooked. Somehow this place has notgotten a food code violation, but it's only a matter of time, I would recommend avoiding this place like the plague. Read more
