I ordered 2 sandwiches and picked them up on my way home from work. 1 portobello and one portobello with chicken. I drove 20... minutes home to find out they both have chicken and so my vegetarian family members had nothing to eat. I would suggest checkingyour order before you leave. The chicken sandwich that did get eaten had something in it that was the texture of either a stemfrom a vegetable or a piece of chicken bone that had stewed and softened. These sandwiches definitely weren't worth the price Ipaid or the tip I left. I called and asked for a refund. I'll stop the next day I work and hope they follow through as they saidthey would. Horrible. They were all over the place. I went to the register to order and the lady said she could take my order down by her on... the other side and I told her my order. She started making it then called for me asking me again what I ordered and how I wantedit because she forgot. At this point I realized she just had me tell her my order, not ringing it up. A different worker cameover and started ringing it up. I gave her money and then grabbed the 3 cookies I ordered in the beginning and went to fill mysoda. My husband was then asked if I was going to pay for the cookies I took, with a confused look I said I had ordered them? Well obviously there was no communication and multiple things were not right or even on my order. It was just a mess. Not tomention the lettuce was browning in several areas. And it wasn't even just a little bit, the majority of the bin was browningand in clear view of customers. They just need to get their s*** together and be a little more professional. When my husband was diagnosed with Celiac?s disease, it became very difficult to find take out options that were safe for him.... Kudos to everyone at Jersey Mike?s for making it safe for Celiac?s. They go out of their way to take proper precautions whenpreparing the food - changing gloves, dedicated gluten free space, dedicated slicer, making sure to use a newly cleaned knife tocut the sandwich, even wrapping the sandwich in an area away from the regular bread to avoid cross contamination. Great place for subs. Started going here after the owner posted about a grand reopening on Facebook, had always seen it but... never tried it. Probably go once or twice a month now. Little pricier than some other sub places but in my opinion totallyworth it. Hot subs cooked up fresh, cold subs have quality meat. My only complaint which doesn't affect me giving a five star,is that a few times going in there's been some off color banter between employees, in particular the younger employees, but Idon't fault the place for that as they're just some high school kids that probably don't know work place etiquette as well. Butdiscussions as to why the person under 18 can't use the meat slicer and the bloody dangers of such are not really the besttopics to discuss behind the counter while serving food. Overall though, definitely 5 stars for food, quality, and usualservice. Read more
Normally this one is on point. But if you order on line. Check the subs and extra items with the receipt before you leave. My... bag had wrong subs. Had to drive all the way back and pick up what I ordered. Gave back the other subs. No sorry, nothing forthe problem I encountered. I guess it's our job to make sure we get the rite items. Love this store and this team! They deliver a great experience and the sandwiches are awesome! Get the #9 or #43.
Just an average experience. They have a good gluten free option if that's something you need. And they cut all the cold meats... when you order, so they're all fresh as well. On our visit on a Wednesday at 6pm, they were out of buns, and we were told wecould only get wraps or bowls. I was going to get a bowl anyway, and hubby got the wrap. The Italian wrap was actually prettygood, though nothing spectacular. Having a choice between here and Potbelly's I'd probably go to the latter. I had theportabella cheese steak on a bowl. Since I wasn't getting buns, I had assumed it would be more like a sandwich with a bed oflettuce on the bottom. I was right, but it was more like a blanket rather than a mattress. A very thin bed of lettuce. Theserver did tell me they were running low on everything, including lettuce. Otherwise, the meat and cheese had pretty goodflavor. Not sure whether this location doesn't usually serve dinner or what. It was still pretty early for them to be runninglow on everything, me-thinks. Read more
