Stopped here on our trip to the airport (ORD). Excellent food and beer! 5 minute detour from the highway. So many choices for... food and beverages that we will have to be back again. The interior of the brewery was very cool. Had cheese curds, fish taco,cauliflower taco, pollo taco and chicken dumpling soap, all were super good. Kids menu provided quite a good selection ofoptions. Will definitely stop again, maybe not at this location but definitely one of the two other locations. Service wasgreat! Read more
2022.05.20 ? Went here for lunch. Great American food with some other healthy choices that may surprise you. Get the cheese... curds. Your in Milwaukee and Water Street Brewery?s local chain of restaurants make a familiar and great version of them. Thebeer selection is top notch and as the name suggests they have their own brews to try. I personally had the short rib bowl forlunch. Others had the clam chowder and the tandoori bowl. We split a classic combo pizza which was great and smart. The pizzasare bigger than a personal pizza. Easily shareable with another person or a group of four. Opted. It to have dessert althoughthe brownie a la mode would have been great I?m sure. The interior decor is really nice. Lots of old barrels, barn siding, andneon signs. Give it a try. Very eclectic menu, tacos, burgers, scotch eggs, salads, etc. Large menu with some interesting items, there will be something... for everyone here. Take the whole family. Sat night had a bit of a wait, 35 minutes but it was worth it. Nobody had anything tocomplain about. I would go back many times. Try everything on the menu. Read more
This was a "re-do" of a disastrous date night with my husband at a different restaurant a couple of weeks ago. We went on a... Saturday, and arrived shortly before 6:00. It was busy, fun atmosphere, several parties waiting, yet we were seated in justunder half an hour. Our server, Allison, was very attentive, and when my husband mentioned my hearing loss, she made a point ofspeaking more loudly-there was quite a bit of background noise. My husband and I shared a flight of four varieties of beer andan appetizer of haystack onions. Our meals arrived just as we finished our appetizer-perfect timing! I had the butcher's steak,and he had a plate of German sausages, spaetzel, and sauerkraut. All was delicious and we will definitely return! A nice brewery with pub food nicely located in Drexel Square, with good food and great interior. It's quite large inside, with... high ceilings with a very open feel. I've come here on Sunday evenings quite a bit, and their service has always leaned towardsthe slow side. I mean, slow, like 40 minutes between ordering and getting the food. This was my first time back since covid,and either the service just got better or there were less customers. Either way, our service was better. So yay! Our server Lextried very hard to be accommodating and pleasant. He may have been newer, though, and almost dropped the plates once ortwice. IPA can't remember the name of the IPA, but it wasn't fruity. It was really good. Hany approved. Butter Burger Love howwell toasted the sesame buns were. Patty was juicy (though I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked and it came medium by default),and it just had a good flavor though and though. And the fries! Oh my. My favorite kind, not too thin, not too thick, andcrunchy crispy on the outside while soft on the inside. Tandoori Chicken looked a bit dry from where I was sitting, but myfriend cleared the plate!
