My wife and I are exploring local dining options and decided to try to give this one a try. We were disappointed with the... quality of the food for the price charged. The BBQ pork appetizer was cold, like right out of the fridge cold. The sesamechicken breading and glaze was decent but not fantastic. The pork fired rice was very greasy and did not have an "authentic"taste to it, seemed bland. The beef and broccoli tasted ok but some of the beef was cold. The white rice was hard. The waitresswas pleasant and worked hard to get our order correct. Overall we were disappointed in spending over $70 for the quality of themeal, we will not be coming back. Read more

The owner is so very nice. Before my dad passed away he came from Canada to visit me. We went here for dinner and my dad was... asking the owner if they had ginger beef(something they have back in Canada at his favorite Chinese restaurant). The owner saidit wasn't on the menu but he could make it for him. The owner himself went in the back and made my dad his favorite dish ???? Mydad was so happy and it was so delicious. This place goes the extra mile and I'll always remember the kindness my dad receivedhere. Read more
Fantastic restaurant. Run by great people making great food. I was in town for work and both times I stopped by were very... welcoming and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food each time. I would return to Whidbey just for thisrestaurant. I haven't eaten here for a couple years because last I had wasn't great. My coworker got some the other day and we were floored.... It's so good. The quality is 10 times better than before. The portion of chicken fried rice filled my entire container to thetop with lots and lots of chicken. The honey walnut shrimp is to die! Read more

I did enjoy lunch it was tasty and plentiful. The price seemed a bit excessive though i do feel at over $24! Bill should have... been under $20 for services received. One thing, though, that really shocked me was the state of the mens bathroom! Good god,just disgusting! Broken toilet stall, poster saying dont pee out of the toilet! Soap that looked like it had congealed andbeen in there since 1967! No warm water to wash hands! Good god, what is it about oak harbor restaurant bathrooms!! They arejust mostly disgusting and shocking. For god's sakes if you are going to run a business, provide at least a clean, organized andsane bathroom PLEASE!!!! Read more
