Loved the waitress so much we drove around 45 each way just to go there. The drinks were a treat and the staff was simply... lovely, helpful, truly someone that loves her job. Out of almost 20 different dishes we were happy with each one. Kudos to thekitchen staff too! Read more
I am typically not a person who writes reviews, but I cannot stop thinking about how swindled I feel after eating at this... establishment. First, the place is dingy feeling. Carpets are totally disgusting, and there were flys flying around (with a flyswatter out in the open). That should have been enough of a sign for me to get up and leave, but I didn't. The gal who worksthere is very nice, but knows how to really talk up the menu. Only, to be let down and disappointed when the food arrives. Theycharge a lot of money for the less than appealing food that they serve. And, I'm pretty positive the syrup I put on my frenchtoast was rancid. Food brings people joy. Eating at this place did not bring me joy. I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars. Riverside Cafe earned it. First off the staff is super friendly in a normal ?you?re part of... the family? way. It was hot and they rocked the breakfast and lunch crowd. I ordered the special and it did not disappoint. Ihad to get some work done and they were really kind to let me ?hang?. Just great. Riverside Cafe - small and cozy with a friendly service. First time in this restaurant and boy the breakfast was outstanding.... Not to pricey for a home cook style meal. Highly recommend to check it out. Read more
Really awkward and disappointing dining experience. For some reason, Disney music was blasting on the speakers in the dining... area. I ordered a Caesar salad to have something simple to eat.I did not receive any croutons or lemon. The cheese was genericshredded American cheese, not Parmesan. The dressing did not taste like Caesar dressing at all and was extremely watered down.The garlic bread had burnt garlic pieces. Overall, this was not an appetizing meal by any means. Read more
Great and fast service on a Monday afternoon. Quite empty but I suspect it picks up on the weekends. A great little slice of... what Americana should be in a sea of Clown World garbage. Food was exceptional. Best burger I?ve had in a long while. Read more
