Nice stop to start off my trip to Death Valley. I like that it indulges in it's connections to Route 66 and it's history. This... is really what made this a fun stop. Please let me tell you about this place, first of all nice place looks clean and organized, then the prices are very fear and... affordable. Now the food is delicious, I ordered "baby back ribs" and it was one of the best ribs I ever had. I got it to go andstill good. Nice staff I highly recommend it. Buen provecho!!! Read more

Basically a burger place menu. I got the Philly cheese sandwich and it was good. Needed some dipping sauce though. Also got hot... tea. Very warm and relaxing during this cold season. Also got a t shirt. The bathrooms where clean and the waitress was verypolite and fast moving. Love that the pilot truck stop parking lot is huge and easy to access the cafe. Prices have gone up since I last was there 4 years ago, however the service was delightful and the food was great! I loved my... "Trucker's steak" with mashed potatoes and veggies, everything tasted delicious, the steak was tender and the added onions andmushrooms and beef gravy were perfectly seasoned. My wife's Tri Tip dinner wasn't all that good, the tri tip was cooked mediumas we requested but it was a bit hard to chew and the roasted corn was blant and tasteless, the bbq beans were ok. Over all weliked it and recommend it specially the Trucker's steak. We also had a slice of their banana cream pie and loved it too. Overallwe give them 4 stars and will definitely keep going and recommend them. Oh and don't be fooled by the outdated pictures of theirmenu as the prices have gone up. OMG my BF brought me here for my first time this morning and I loved it. He used to live in the area before we started dating... and was a usual customer. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Belgian waffle with eggs and sausage. He had the ABComlett. The service was great and you also seat yourself to any comfortable booth or the bar area. The waitress was very niceand frequently refilled my BF's coffee. This restaurant had excellent customer service and it's hard to find service like thatanywhere now a days. The had very humorous signs inside which I haven't seen at any restaurant before. :) Read more
