My favorite spot on Oak Island! Very delicious coffees, and the egg and cheese on an asiago bagel was delicious. Will be back!
Visited twice during our 3-day Oak Island getaway in early June. Went to another coffee spot our first morning, nice place but... left a little to be desired, and thankfully happened upon Ruby's for our second and third mornings! First visit we had coffeeand a spicy mocha, as well as a bagel/cream cheese and avocado toast. My mocha was superb with just the right amount of cayenne,and the avocado toast delicious. Second visit just had drinks as we were hitting the road for our drive back home. Fun, funkyatmosphere at the Oak Island Pier, very comfortable to sit and relax for a while. Employees were friendly and knowledgeableabout their menu items. Will be back for more good stuff on our next OKI visit. Thanks! Read more
This place is so cute, SO good, and the girls working are too sweet! Me and a friend went and both got iced caramel brûlée... lattes and we were both shocked at how good they were! Not bitter like some coffee shops and the perfect flavor! I had aneverything bagel that was one of the best I?ve ever had, soft and fresh tasting with yummy cream cheese. Worth every penny andeven better supporting a local business! Obsessed with this place. Read more
Ruby?s is a fantastic coffee house and breakfast spot!! I?m pet picky about my coffee, and they make a great latte. We came once... and had to return every day of our vacation because it was so good! In addition to great food and drinks, the staff is kind,friendly, and efficient. Extra bonus, there?s parking right out front. Read more
The iced matcha is so good! You can add strawberry and other fruit flavors in it. Going back to try coffee today! Great place to... do work and study, then take a break to walk on the pier. Pretty pricey, but basically Starbucks prices. They charge you forbottled water if you want water so bring your own if you don?t want to pay for that too - overall, fantastic cute place. Ruby?s was so good we went two days in a row! We tried bagel sandwiches both days and both days didn?t disappoint. The vibe is... great and the service was incredible. If you are looking for a quick bite, this is the place to go. Pro tip: get the Ruby?sspecialty iced coffee. It is shaken with milk and cinnamon. I don?t even like cinnamon and I couldn?t get enough! Great little coffeehouse right on the pier! Cute decorations and friendly staff. Good seating available to sit and enjoy your... drink and maybe a delicious baked good. We got iced lattes and a cinnamon croissant and a chocolate croissant. Both croissantswere yummy. Read more
