Their hours are really bad now. They're out of alot of food. Sad, used to be a great place.

My family of four dined in here on a Wednesday evening (around 7pm). We had Chili, Grilled Chicken Pita with seasoned fries,... Eggplant parmesan and a spaghetti dinner. The spaghetti came in a generous size and came with a side of salad and garlic bread.The chili was a little bland, but we added hot sauce and it made it a little better. The chicken pita was good and the seasonedfries were REALLY good. My husband enjoyed his eggplant parm and the side salad that came with the spaghetti. The service wasgood and the atmosphere was welcoming. For those that enjoy slots, there's a section with about 4 slot machines. Read more

I ordered an Italian beef. The wait wasn't bad but the beef was. It was so bland. It had no flavor. And the price was more than... portillos. I was better off going to portillos, at least it would've been good. Read more

I stop in here from time to time to do a little gambling and grab a sandwich. So I'm playing the machines, I'm back-and-forth,... winning and losing then I hit a bonus and Im up like $400. I redeem one ticket, get paid, put in the other ticket but nomoney comes out! I walk over to the counter and let one of the employees know what happened. We walk back over to themachines and he calls the video poker company. While we were waiting he offered me something to drink and introduced himselfas Vince the owner of Frankies. Usually when there is this kind of problem the employees seem bothered having to help you, notVince! He went above and beyond to help me get my money back! I guess everything happens for a reason because while I waswaiting for them to sort out my ticket situation, I won another $800!! The gnocchi comes sunk in a sea of orange goo - which consists of bland sauce and huge hunks of melted cheese. The ratio is... about 3 parts sauce to 2 parts gnocchi. The ?pasta? itself is a tasteless, texture less ball of soft potato and flour. Throw ina full artichoke cut in half, toss that on top of the pile, and there u have it - the worst excuse for gnocchi I?ve everexperienced. The garlic bread was?bread. There was not even a hint of garlic or any other flavor for that matter. But there weresome seasoning-related burn marks on the face of the bread so u could tell there was, at one time, SOMETHING on there. Eitherlost all taste in the freezer or the microwave. Purely disgusting and not even cheap. $16 for a bowl of orange vomit. Read more

This place is pretty good. Clean,..easy parking. Not too far from Midway airport. Italian beef was good, tamale boat was out of... sight, pepper egg sandwich left something to be desired but to be fair I didn't know what I was getting into when I ordered it.Pricing is fair and portions are adequate.
