I was having a game night and we wanted something different. So we thought we would try Portillo?s on 95th Pulaski in Chicago. I... placed my order over the phone. The young lady talked was pleasant and patient because I ask lots of questions (lol) I orderedthe party meal which included: French rolls,salads/all the fixings in separate containers,Italian Beef, peppers, condiments,warmers and the signature chocolate cake. I added another French roll bread and Italian sausage (to me Italian beef isn?t rightwithout the sausage) and sweet peppers!! The employees were very generous. I dined in this time to enjoy the atmosphere. Oh yeah and if you see a line in the drive thru... do not get discouraged. Service is pretty fast at this location. Portillo's actually makes food to cater for your next event aswell. You can even order online. Parking was great and the food was tasty!! Read more

This is the always busy 95th and Pulaski Portillos, and is, like all of the Portillos in my opinion, overpriced. A cheeseburger... and fries for fifteen bucks? If the food was hot and well prepared, maybe. It was nether. My first serving of fries was onlyhalf full. The disinterested counter people gave me another, and they were barely warm. The burger tasted like it was cookedearlier in the day. Overall not something I would recommend to other people. Read more
The four stars are for the style of the restaurant because it looks so good. It has neon signs, cool pictures, the roof has a... lot of details, and restrooms are clean. The food wasn?t that bad, I got the spicy chicken sandwich, chicken strips, and fries.The chicken strips are so hard to chew and the cake shake has a lot of calories. That?s the only reason I didn?t give them 5stars. Read more
This is the first time I am eating at portillo's and I am giving it three stars for the Italian beef. The sandwich was tasty and... fresh. We also ordered a cheeseburger the buns was not fresh at all, also the burger was so cold its looks like they justgrabbed it from the fridge. I would never try again their burgers???? Read more
Portillos is one of my favorite places to visit whenever I return to the Chicago area. The food is always delicious and the... place looks great inside. The customer service at this location wasnt very good. The cashier was very nonchalant and indifferentand I never understood why places sweep the dining area while people are still eating.
