Update: Not coming back! I came back because the taste was so good last time I came. The amount of food was ridiculous, I got... the $30 dollar bag plus potatoes and sausage (which they forgot to add) I was served: 4 crawfish, 10 mussels, 1 medium/smallcrab, 1 1/2 potatoes and one sausage cut on pieces. For $30 dollars you can get much more in other restaurants. Not worthit! The tip is included ———————————————- The food was really good! I wish they could give youtools to open the crab legs. They did not give us gloves. It is pricey! Unfortunately the music was way too loud, like being ina club. With rap music all the time, you are unable to have a conversation when you are eating inside. They waiter was nice, Iwould say only the girls were working, because the guys were playing around. I've tried to give Cajun Boil & Bar the benefits of the doubt. But, today was horrible and my Crab Cakes were not edible. I've... always went to the Cajun Boil & bar in Oak Park, Illinois. But, this is my last time giving them a chance. I order Crab Cakestoday and my Crab cakes were burnt. I was very disappointed. This is ridiculous. I'm paying for great or good food. This location our 1st time going it was closer so we decided let's try. We enjoyed ourselves my BestFriend B-day. Good Vibes fun... atmosphere. Eaten here a few times now, once in person and take out twice. The boil is so good, I get the house sauce and spice level hot.... Yum. My favorite thing to do is put it up and eat it the next day, and the day after that! (Picture is of my lunch today.)Sitting in the sauce overnight yields amazing flavor. Highly recommended! Good service, but only from our waiter who was the ONLY one attending the entire floor, no help from any of the bus boys who... were just hanging around. The only time I saw the bus boys do any work was when they were changing the table top paper. The foodand atmosphere were good too, music could've been a little lower, but it did not bother us. We visited on a Friday night, andthere was a 30 minute wait which I didn't understand once I walked in and saw that half the tables were empty, but later onrealized it was because no was doing any work except for our waiter. The fried gator was tasty, if you are open to trying something you normally wouldn't, give the fried gator a try. It comes with... a sauce that is reminiscent of the special Big Mac sauce with a little kick, it pairs perfectly with the gator but I alsoenjoyed them without it. We ordered the hangry seafood broil combo with all shrimp covered in the house special seasoning. Theshrimp were seasoned well, not too spicy or overpowered by sodium.
