I had a thin crust pizza and it had zero flavor, like bland cheese on communion wafers. It gave me flashbacks to pizza from my... high school cafeteria. I was surprised given how good the deep dish is. The fries weighed in at .357 Lb for $5.65. Forreference that is slightly larger than the large fry at McDonalds (0.33 Lb). (Not that fast food fries can be compared to a sitdown place , just giving people an idea of the size of an order) If you order from here stick with the deep dish. Read more

Zero stars. My family went to lunch at this location and had a pretty simple order. One small thin pepperoni, one large... pepperoni deep dish. The deep dish was just never made. No reason. Waited forever and then only got the thin. We had to askwhere our other pizza was as he was walking away. Our waiter was also the manager. So our family of 4 adults had a smallpepperoni as an entree. Very disappointing. The waiter/manager was kind enough to not charge us for the deep dish that we didnot get. This location was the second one in the Chicago area that we had this exact thing happen, the other wasRosemont/Higgins Rd. I contacted Giordano?s again afterward and they said they would do ?something? not sure what, to make itright. Then never responded to me again. We?ll never be back to any Giordano?s. Read more
Overall my family enjoyed our visit to Giordano's in Oak Park / River Forest. We went there specifically on a Thursday to take... advantage of the Monday through Thursday special which is 30% off all pizzas. DINE IN ONLY for a limited time, so phone first ifyou go for that. We were able to get a great deal and have 3 different kinds of pizzas including a deep dish ground beef andspinach. a thin crust pepperoni and a create your own thin with banana peppers, red onions and sausage. Plenty of toppingoptions. We were seated quickly and we had a good waitress. We had a little trouble with the bill not been not being processedcorrectly but it was fixed and we would go again. First impression: Very good, but expensive pizza. I was in the area and wanted to try their deep dish. A friendly person at the... counter informed me I had missed the cutoff for deep dish, due to the time, so I ended up ordering a large thin crust. The pizzawas cooked perfectly, had great flavor, and just the right amount of toppings. I also enjoyed the old school charm of thebuilding and interior. It was a great experience overall, though I'm not sure why the price at this location is significantlyhigher than their other locations. Read more

Giordano's Deep Dish wins hands down. Many chains claim the title of best deep dish pizza however Giordano's is consistently the... tastier of the bunch. We ordered two traditional deep dish pizzas; one pepperoni/sausage and the other mushroom/black olives.Neither of them disappointed, sauce, cheese and crust well balanced and tasty. Ordered a bunch of wings in BBQ and Buffalo andthey lasted about 2 minutes. Well done Giordano's, we'll make this a Sunday Night Football tradition. Read more
Service could have been a bit better. For example, my lady wanted hot tea in which it clearly has on the menu. But the server... just blatantly said " we don't have hot tea" and I showed him on the menu. After showing him he then explained that the hotwater wasn't working so there are no hot drinks for that night. Should have lead with that. But other than this the pizza wasGREAT! HIGHLY Recommended!
