We've been going here for years so we know what to expect in terms of quality, taste, and service. Recently, we came to dine in... and I ordered my favorite salmon plate (which is what I typically order). It took me by surprise when I noticed my meal lookedcompletely different this time around. The salmon and veggies turned out quite dry and tasteless, albeit the miso soup and saladcame out pretty good. Historically, the food was so good that I'd end up finishing my meal in one seating. But this time around,I could barely eat half of it and debated whether I should even take it home... Sadly, I don't think we'll be returning giventhe not-so-great experience. Read more

9/4/2022 Usually my family’s go to sushi place, had it a few weeks ago and was normal and delicious, but this time around it... was like a whole new place. The quality was way down, our order was missing a roll and pieces of fish, ingredients missing fromrolls, plastic found in some ginger, and avocado skin in roll. Really sad and unfortunate, but now we are just going to have tofind a new place for our sushi. Read more

9/2/22 update: A sad state of affairs. We order and had it delivered. Something happened that I can't explain. The food, almost... overnight, has gotten horrible. The menu is different, and the dishes that are still on the menu are totally different. Checkout my new pictures. The seaweed salad is a container of lettuce with a small amount of seaweed. The cucumber salad was similar, lettuce with plain cucumbers with a strange ginger dressing. Next up, the asparagus beef rolls were half raw, as you can seein the picture. The sushi rice tasted different making the sushi not taste good. And, hopefully you've read this far becausehere's where we stopped and threw the meal out. There was a bug in my Hawaiian roll. It did not look like it was fromHawaii. Must say, we will not be eating here again. We are all so disappointed because this was one of our favoriteplaces. Update: I guess I go here to much. They recognized me from before. Still great service still great food. Prices haveincreased, but where haven't they. Our new favorite sushi! Delivery time is sometimes long, I guess we aren't the only ones whothink it good. The tamago came presented like 2 hearts. Clever. Prices are great and quality is too. The aloha and ca rolls areespecially tasty. I've only had takeout, so I'm not sure about dining in the restaurant. Update: Went for lunch during theweek. The restaurant has a nice feel to it. It's comfortable inside and they have a few tables outside on the sidewalk/ in thestreet. Service was good, it wasn't busy when we were there and the staff was attentive, but not overly. And if course the foodwas terrific and we'll presented. Read more

This place was awesome, small little spot with authentic staff, simple atmosphere and a quaint bar. What shined was the food,... fresh rice and adventurous flavored rolls, small touches of flair on old favorites and some flavorful inventive drinks. Thefriendly staff made sure we had a blast. The spicy honey tuna roll was a delicious surprise, and the best octopus I've had In awhile. Prices seem to have understandably increased recently, but still well worth the value. Will definitely make time toreturn next time I'm in the city. Read more

Easily some of the best sushi we've had in a long while and not badly priced either! The volcano roll was a little different... than you get at a usual Americanized sushi spot, but it was still great. We had a honey roll, the volcano roll, sumo roll, spicytako roll, and a spicy ebi roll. They were all fantastic and the boat they served them on was cleared in less than 15minutes. We also tried a beer that contained berry jelly of some kind; I know, it sounds a bit odd, but once again this placedelivered on great flavors. Would definitely visit again for the sake of trying more new stuff. Read more

During Covid and now I used to go once a week and felt like a valued customer. Now the prices have all increased, they don’t... offer a free roll with every $60 purchase anymore, I’m treated with no respect not even a hello from the host many times, thefood portions have gotten smaller yet prices have increased. The food quality has decreased. The chef with the long black hairdoesn’t wear a hair net. The host whoever it is that month doesn’t speak English well and im treated like the ugly girl atthe school dance. I end up spending $70 ish dollars for two people and the love / care isn’t there anymore yet everythingnegative has increased. I went from a valued customer to a nobody overnight. Looking for a new sushi place now. Read more

Upsetting! I don't normally write reviews, especially not negative ones, but I'm really disappointed. My girlfriend and I get... sushi every Sunday, and each weekend we look for a different place to see who has the best Godzilla roll. Below are somepictures of the Godzilla roll we got. It was a mess! It wouldn't hold together at all, and any time we would try to pick it upit would just fall apart all over the place. The sushi itself isn't bad. It's fairly tasty, nothing to rave about, but it's notawful. The quality is what I'm most upset about. If we are dropping nearly $60 for sushi, we expect it to at least holdtogether. 4/10. Read more
