Didn't realize the pie shop was here because of the huge sign above the store that has nothing to do with the place. Glad I... stopped in to find this neighborhood gem. I had the Chocolate Chess (reminds me of a fudge brownie) Lemon Lavender, Brown sugar(really good!) mini pies. Also the ham & cheese quiches. The crusts were tasty, and flaky, fillings are flavorful. They sellwhole pies, slices and minis. Which I suggest to get if you can't make up your mind. If you're in the neighborhood stop in!!! Read more
My sister shared this amazing place with me. The Happy Apple Pie Shop is now one of my favorite places for chicken pot pie... (regular and tandoori!), spinach and feta pie and Checker Pie. ???? The lemon mini pie was really great, and the apple pie was pretty good too.The coffee is nothing to write home about, but definitely a step up from diner coffee and will get the job done. I cant even explain how amazing these pies are. They are the best pies Ive ever had. The crust, the filling, the presentation,... the quality, and the people at the happy apple are all one-of-a-kind. Respect for how hard it is to master the perfect crust. Not too sweet, only fresh ingredients, they coax the flavors to their potential and never disappoint.
