Hands down, this is the best place I've had authentic Middle Eastern food. Their garlic spread is to die, sometimes my family... orders it by the bowel lol and I either get the Chicken Shawarma sandwich or the Chicken Galaba dinner entree which my bestfriends and I LOVE! Read more
I used to like pita cafe. The food was great, nice atmosphere, and GOOD service. I'm not sure what has happened within these... last few years but something has changed. The servers are rude and impatient, food is sloppily put together, and you can tellthat they just don't care. I called and ordered my food a couple months ago. First, they got my order wrong. Second, when theydid find out they got it wrong they didn't try to remake it or apologize at least. The people who also work at the pick up areaare also extremely ill-mannered. I'm not sure if it's a management issue but if they want to get their already small amount ofcustomers WILLING to come back there has to be a fix. Think twice before you go to THIS pita cafe. A friend took me to Pita Café for my birthday today. I C picked the place, because I had heard so many good things about it... from friends. It has definitely been affected by Covid. There are go boxes that your food is served in, and you have the optionof finding one of the few tables to eat in which we did. There?s really no wait staff, the person brings you your food andthat?s pretty much it. They did come back once or twice for another table and we were able to get what we were missing. Therewas no garlic sauce which is a mainstay in this cuisine. The fresh bread has been over cooked in the bottom was very hard. Thelamb Shawarma was very good but the portion was marginal, and the price has increased by four dollars to accommodate Covid Iguess. Pretty much there was only three people running the whole establishment. Oh and all the food the lamb, the salad, and therice were good. The hummus which came in a small container was not fresh. My friend got falafel and really enjoyed it. I won?thave a craving to go back, but if someone wanted to go I would still go. Really would like to give it 3 1/2 stars. I love the debone chicken and I order 1/2 dinner dark. Just writing this review is making my mouth water. The flavor will... satisfy your taste buds and it?s enough for two meals.
