Had a great lunch here. The best pork sandwich I've ever had. It's on their lunch special. It was like three kinds of pork. The... service was great from the moment we walked in. Read more

You absolutely cannot go wrong at this location of Calhouns. The view over the Clint River is breathtaking. They have scores of... tables lining the building inside and outside that give you the perfect panorama of nature. The service is fast. The food isexcellent. It’s off the beaten path of the normal run-of-the-mill restaurants that offer full service experiences. It’s alsogreat for events. We are thinking about holding our class reunion at this location. In town from FL was looking for some good food I can’t get at home. Well nothing I had was note worthy except the drink.... Service was poor and they were slow. The view is the best part of this location. Read more

Calhoun’s is consistent. I have eaten at various locations over the years. They know how to make bbq. The bacon wrapped burnt... ends were tender and delicious. Definitely get them off you want an appetizer. I had the single pork chop entree. It was tenderand tasty. BONUS - This Calhoun’s also had a Great Lake view! Read more

Beautiful views, terrible service. I've been to this location twice, several months apart (several others in the area as well)... and the service just wasn't service. Yes they did their job but I've experienced friendlier greetings and help at funerals. Thisvisit we received finger food with no napkins and our server never checked on us so we ate it and asked for napkins once we sawhim again, after we had finished. The banana pudding, while it was nice with a twist of macadamia nuts, it just wasn't whatbanana pudding in the south is known for. The listing was a different texture, almost custard like, half of it was cream whippedtopping and I rarely discovered a banana. And I love me some banana pudding. Calhoun's is a fav and we'll continue to eat there, just not this location, or, we'll know what to expect. Other locations have been incredibly friendly. Read more

Thank you Calhoun’s for making today absolutely perfect! My daughter was finally able to come home for a visit after being... away for three years due to work and Covid. The manager of this location was willing to work with us to accommodate our largefamily being together in a central location, which was the key first step in making today possible. We arrived and were greetedwith smiles and very friendly staff. We were seated right away, and our server Sam greeted us and took drink orders. I have tosay that Sam was the perfect host during our visit. We kept him on his toes with drink refills, extra dressing and the typicalrequests that customers make. Sam took it all in stride and did a fantastic job today! He even graciously took photos so wecould all be in them. The food, all of the food, was amazing!! We’ll be back again and will be recommending this particularrestaurant to everyone we know. Thank you all!! Read more

Decent food and a lovely location. Closes at 9, so a somewhat early bar, but great drinks as well. I enjoyed the chicken, and... they even bought me a Sunday for dessert! I am sure we will go back and check it out when it's lighter on the lake. Read more
