I had the fajita burrito. It was good. The salsa for the chips needs to be thicker. It was tomato juice consistency.
One of my favorite mexican restaurants in the county. Closest I've seen in California to the traditional 'Tex-Mex' I miss from... Texas. The 'spicy' salsa is not, it's just delicious. I love the enchilada tamale combo with rice and beans. The whole plateis basically covered with enchilada sauce. Yum!! Been coming her for years and the food is always prepared the same. Total comfort food. The lightest tamales I've ever had. The chili rellenos were super fluffy too. Got the Machaca, asada and... carnita taco. Wish they had a vegetarian tamales. I recommend al a carte to try lots of their dishes. The beans and rice weresuper good too. Read more
We just love their food and their outstanding service! No other Mexican restaurant compares to the food at Casa de Lago! And... it's not that we haven't tried others, we have and can't find anyplace that compares. It's also very says a lot that they haveemployees who have worked there for 30+ years (yes, I asked!). That itself says a lot about a place when someone has beenwilling to work for someone for that long. We'll be back, obviously! Read more
